While speaking to a crowd and referring to notes in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Trump strangely asked hows Joe Paterno? And even mentioned bringing him back.

I think he’s probably still dead
Trump clearly has early onset Alzheimer’s or other dementia.
I mentioned this a few months ago.
I saw my Dad start, I know it.
Ouch.
Now being from PA, I just have to ask does he even think through what he is about to say?
Before the Trump supporters jump on me, I know he is most likely speaking about the statue. But he never made that clear, to just the casual observer he is saying bring Joe Paterno back to life. Not bringing the statue back, P.S. note to Donald, the statue has been melted down already, if you really were outraged with the deal that JoePa got you would have done something in 2012.
Trump’s use of present tense makes it look like he doesn’t remember that.
Uh...what can I even say about this. ..
Just plain bizarre.
>> I just have to ask does he even think through what he is about to say?
Why would he start now?
Perhaps Generalissimo Francisco Franco, too?
True, I personally think so but still?
He can’t figure out that complicated delegate process, he asks how dead people are doing, and I am told if we don’t elect him the country is over.
I think I will risk voting for someone that, well, is maybe a little more with it, if you know what I’m saying.
Even more bizarre;
65K Coloradans voted—they just voted against Trump. That’s 11 elections in a row we’ve won.

Unfair. Joe Biden has been getting away with comments like that for years.

This is probably why Trump is better just making his own speeches.
That paper probably recommended he bring up Joe Paterno but he probably is not as familiar.
Kind of like when he was in St Louis and talked up the football team that “came from nowhere”—in a year when the Rams decided to leave and Mizzou had a bad season. LOL
I can’t directly link to the source for the Red State story due to copyright issues, but Trump asked “How’s Joe Paterno?”. Why would he ask how a statue was doing?
I refuse to click on a RedState link.
Trump is gaffe prone. So was Bush. Obama is too, but we never hear much about his, except on FR.
Wow! Ronald Reagan too!
I think he was talking about the statue but it was still a dumb remark. Paterno helped cover for the creep.
Oh, please...he was talking about the statue. This is a RedState.
