BETHESDA, Md., April 8, 2016/PRNewswire/ Ted Cruz risks primary disqualification in New Jersey resulting from charges of ballot access fraud. A primary ballot disqualification hearing is scheduled by the Secretary of State for Monday, April 11 at 9:00 a.m. in Mercerville, New Jersey.
Washington D.C. Law Professor Victor Williams charges that Ted Cruz fraudulently certified his constitutional eligibility for office to gain ballot access. Williams demands that Cruz be disqualified from several late-primary ballots: Cruz committed ballot access fraud in each state when he falsely swore that he was a natural born American citizen. Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada and held his resulting Canadian citizenship until May 2014. Cruz is a naturalized (not natural born) American citizen.

God bless you and good luck in 2016. Thank you for your service. I’m thinking you’re gonna be putting in a lot of OT....
I opened that expecting to be skeptical on the conclusion.
After reading it, I am not.
I’ve read some interesting arguments, and this was another.
Cruz does seem to have a real problem.
I am very anti-Cruz. None the less, if I were an ardent Cruz supporter, this would cause me to at least wonder how this will all turn out.
The “no dual citizenship” part seemed compelling.
This thread has NOTHING to do about ANY other candidate.
This thread is all about the sanctity of the highest office in the land. And to hold that office, you must past constitutional requirements.
It's that simple. You meet them, fine. If not, well, too bad.
Most have just ruled on lack of standing, a form of judicial punting.
In Pennsylvania Judge Dan Pellegrini wrote that a natural born citizen includes any person who is a United States citizen from birth, and ordered the states secretary of the commonwealth to keep Cruzs name on the ballot.
Elliott said he would appeal the decision to the state Supreme Court. I believe that Judge Dan Pellegrini iss going to have egg on his face since his assertion is not anywhere in law.
This is the fourth case Cruz has won on the issue in two weeks; three other lawsuits against Cruz were dismissed last week. But judges in those cases tossed the suits on procedural grounds none of them directly addressed the issue of Cruzs eligibility.
Elliott did appeal the case to the PA Supreme Court, which issued a summary ruling affirming Pellegrini. Elliot is crowd funding an appeal to SCOTUS.

Nopardons, is this the one ?
Thanks, hoosiermama for finding the link!
Thank you! The Constitution is not something I'm standing up for because doing so helps my candidate. The Constitution is the bedrock of America and without it she will not stand.
A Congressional Natural Born Citizen Parts I, II & III: Who Knew What & For How Long?
The written Constitution floats in a vast and deep and, crucially, invisible ocean of ideas, propositions, recovered memories, and imagined experiences
The Invisible Constitution is not simply a mask for imposing a particular ideology on the Constitution, which is what people sometimes think. What I am hoping is that people will come to see that were all engaged in the same game and that the political reality of the Constitution, which is not confined to the written text, is an equal-opportunity reality.

Sigh. Perhaps they will uphold the law. Thank you for the funding link.
Alberta may even join America if it gets it’s crap together. We are sinking fast under the ndp and liberals.
I’m fortunate to be busy, but hundreds of thousands are hurting very bad now. There’s no reason for it. The government forced this on us.
Oh, come on. The lawsuit is about NBC, the same action that has been dismissed in other courts. Simply: Is Ted Cruz a Natural Born Citizen, and thus eligible to run for president?
We aren’t doing all that great in the states with the progressives.
I could see this being brought up as a reference, but since it’s not a federal court ruling, I do not see most state courts relying on it.
Thanks for the ping.

And the latest head to pop up on the Drumpf brothel heir's hydra:
He also worked from in Ukraine on the campaign of Viktor Yanukovych[7] even as the U.S. government (and McCain) opposed Yanukovych because of his ties to Russias Vladimir Putin.[3] Manafort was hired to advise Yanukovych months after massive street demonstrations known as the Orange Revolution overturned Yanukovychs victory in the 2004 presidential race. [8] Borys V. Kolesnikov, Yanukovichs campaign manager, said the party hired Manafort after identifying organizational and other problems in the 2004 elections, in which it was advised by Russian strategists. [7]
This is a lousy scavenger hunt. I click WildHighlander57’s link, and it brings me to a post by hoosiermama.
I click the link in hoosiermama’s post, and it brings me to another site.
That site has an article filled with links. It doesn’t specify what any of the links are. Random words within the article are hyperlinks to God knows where.
Do I have to click every link to find out which one is the video? Can’t somebody just post a link to the video?
New Jersey is more corrupt than any State you mentioned. I am a big Cruz fan. About a year ago, I said he was unelectable. When Trump got in Cruz was done. Now the GOPe is pushing Cruz to knock out Trump. Whether it is NJ or even after the Convention, The Gope and Dems will have Cruz declared ineligble and leave the Republicans with No Canidate. This is all being done to promote Hillary and cover up for all the political thieves from both parties. Think Roberts at SCOTUS when the election nears and anything can happen. Don’t be naive. Hillary owns “everything” even if she is a POS.
Then perhaps instead of an east/west border, we should go north/south. We can put all the lefties out east where they can have their utopias, and the rest of us can manage our resources, and work.
