According to an AP-GfK poll, the country overwhelmingly hates Trump (69%); butt they also strongly dislike Ted (59%) and Old Hilz (55%). I dont know about you butt when I saw this report I was curious about who was conducting it; what happened to Gallup, Rasmussen, Opinion Research the usual suspects? AP is familiar butt who the heck is GfK? So I checked:
The GfK SE, established in 1934 as Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung (Society for Consumer Research) is Germany's largest market research institute, and the fourth largest market research organisation in the world.
In December 2011, GfK acquired Knowledge Networks, based in Palo Alto, California the United States, which does online research for consumer products and services, pharmaceuticals, retail, media, and public policy. Wikipedia
Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung!?! Seriously? Wow! We really are outsourcing American jobs. I wonder how many of their pollsters are foreign guest workers here on H-1B visas.
So if America hates all the front runners I guess were going to end up with a choice between an old Commie:
and an old shoe.
I think Ill just spend today quietly reflecting on how, from a nation of 320 million people, weve come down to this.
Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West, behind the hills into shadow. How did it come to this? Theoden - The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
For the record, if it comes down to the Commie or the old shoe, Id take the old shoe.
Because one thing is always worse than another thing.

If the Republican establishment gives us Kasich, I am actively voting for Bernie Sanders and every liberal Democrat I can, downticket, in an outright effort to destroy America.
I will even work with the Democrats to vote multiple times.
I think I would write in Trump or vote third party.
They are both liberal. Sanders will come closer to fixing the trade issues than Kasich. And he might be better for traditional marriage than Kasich if the rumors of Kasich’s inner circle being all homosexual men are true.
But I don’t think I could vote for someone who openly describes themselves as a socialist. So Trump or third party.
Is it just me or is Hillary! becoming ever more shrill and looking like she is breaking-down? Her harsh laugh at a question about the FBI investigation was startlingly inappropriate.
When it’s all torn down we can start over...and in the meantime make sure it can never happen again.
Why go there? Wake me when the shuttle lands.
Why yes...yes he does.
Seriously.
The only one worse than Jeb Bush would be John KaySuck.
Hell, they could just get Lincoln Chafee to convert back to a Republican and run him.
I would Kamakazi vote. Straight liberal democrat ticket for me.
Because one thing is always worse than another thing.
= = =
But we are supposed to be happy, because the alternative would be much worse.
I won’t bother with wasting my time or the gas to vote if it’s between those two.
Kasich is more liberal than Sanders is on some issues....unrestrained trade, US jobs, states rights, Common Core as some examples. Sanders has not been bought and paid for by deep pocket donors. Besides that, ask any Ohioan....Kasich gets unbearable quite quickly. A presidential campaign with him would be pure torture.
PS: I'm the freeper who all along said the strategists for Cruz should've been going after Kasich, that he's a dangerous campaigner when he gets focused. For some reason, nobody thought he was relevant enough to bother with. I always wondered if he was the elitists "Plan B".
In the short term, one might be better than the other. In the long run, there is no difference between Sanders and Kasich, or, really, Sanders and Mitt Romney. The Constitution is dead and unrecoverable under any or all of them.
And long before we worry about Katchup v KFC Bernie, we need to remember that the lesser of two evils is still EVIL.
I’m not voting for John kasich.
Bad move, regardless of motivation.
During WWII at The Battle of Kasserine Pass in North Africa when
the US II Corps was defeated and pushed back fitty miles... they didn't defect to the Germans.
Did they?
