Donald Trump was correct when he said a woman who had an outlawed abortion would likely be punished. However, the most likely way of ending abortions would be through regulation of those providing medical treatment. Chris Matthews question implied that abortion would become a criminal offense. In that case the woman as a participant in the crime would be subject to prosecution probably as an accessory, an accomplice or a co-conspirator. The courts might not allow prosecution unless the woman was potentially subject to prosecution. In such a legal environment prosecutors might use the offering of immunity from prosecution to abortion recipients in exchange for testimony against the abortion provider.

Libtards are fond of telling us which advanced countries provide benefits which we don’t. Many of them also outlaw abortions after five months. Just try suggesting to libtards that we adopt said half-measure and watch their heads explode.
Which one? I'm losing track.
“advanced countries” also welcome muslims ‘refugees’ by the 100K.
Donald’s first response to this question could have worked, if he had stuck with it. Some are reporting Donald took five different positions on abortion within a three day time period. That jumping around inconsistency, was to me, far more unsettling than his first answers. George Will used this event to state: “Donald Trump has not held his beliefs on abortion for any more than the last 15 minutes.”
The best way to stop abortions is to teach a little dignity and self respect of which there is very little of these days. Keeping your knees together and your pants zipped out of wedlock would stop about 99.999% of the murders. If you can’t do that, then use birth control.
I’d like to know the economic and racial breakdown.
Which answer? He gave 4 in the matter of a few hours.
No kidding.
Yeah, I know. But actually, he had it right the first time: the woman allowing the abortion should be punished as well as the doctor or "doctor".
An abortion occurs when the pregnant woman refuses to take responsibility for her actions. Punishing the doctor, but not the woman, would be another case of not requiring responsibility for an action taken.

I’d also offer reciprocity of immigration laws.
That single brain-cell will quickly overheat.
Course, these ‘other Countries’, being *SO* great, I have yet to meet anyone who MOVED to said ‘great’ locals.

The 2nd most successful way is....personal responsibility.
When fornicator XX and XY know that their neighbors won’t be unwilling piggy-banks anymore, the legs closed/zipper up gets MUCH easier.
Mathew’s scenario had no context and therefore was impossible to answer. Had it been me, I would have asked Chris, “How would such a scenario have come about? A constitutional amendment? A political coup that replaced the Supreme Court? Perhaps Roe v Wade was repealed. How would that have happened? Did every single state then outlaw abortion? Maybe a dictator took over the country and single-handedly outlawed abortion” Every situation you could imagine would be so unlikely as to render the scenario an unreal fantasy. But then unreal fantasies are the stock and trade of the media.
