I have frequently pointed out that my honorable opposition is only over the top because they are patriots who care deeply about the USA. The greater the anger, the greater the devotion to freedom. Best to assume that. It helps us think of them in the best possible light.
That’s probably why you sensed a need to hyphenate my ‘confession’.
But I did get carried away with retaliating against impy right before I found out that his father had a severe injury. I’m more ashamed of that post than any other in this primary.
But we should also refuse to be silent in the face of malicious slander and malicious misrepresentation.
So it’s a balancing act. Best not to initiate the attacks, and retaliations should be from a sincere desire to shift perspective rather than to crush egos.
We should also attempt humor.
No politician should be a ‘god’ to us. Limited government requires limited respect of government.
