Smoking Gun: Sex / Financial PAC Scandal! (Questions for Ted Cruz!)
Edw. Gross ^ | 3-26-16 | Ed Gross

Posted on 03/27/2016 8:42:11 AM PDT by bigbob

Let's look into Sarah Isgur Flores shall we? It is inferred by current reporting that she is at least one of the 8 or 9 women Cruz has had an affair with recently. (excerpted)

The ($500K, excerpted) money from the Fiorina campaign was laundered through a company called MLJ Consulting. Nearly half of the money spent on ads, over $251,795, was paid to MLJ Consulting. On top of that, MLJ Consulting received an additional $271,152 for services described in FEC reports as “Political Strategy Consulting/Staff Management” or “Political Strategy Consulting/Travel.” (The FEC is currently requesting coordinating information on the payments and deposits left out in the filing by the Fiorina campaign.)

The payments to MLJ from the PAC Unlocking Potential have continued into the current campaign cycle. Nearly half of the $210,656 the super PAC has spent has been paid to MLJ Consulting, mostly for “Political Strategy Consulting/Staff Management.” The campaign and both super PACs, Unlocking Potential, Carly for America and MLJ Consulting seem to have secretly worked with Sarah Isgur Flores.

Sarah Isgur Flores received a one-time payroll check of $3,582 from Unlocking Potential, which she joined in February 2015 after leaving the Republican National Committee. Two months later, she was paid $148,375 by Carly for America, the super PAC. And one week after that, Flores received an in-kind payment of $12,700 from the Fiorina campaign. She then began receiving biweekly payroll checks of $10,052 as the deputy director of Fiorina’s campaign. This is the most reasonable manner that the 'Hush Money' was paid by Keep the Promise I. (The Ted Cruz Super PAC Operation!)

Now my question is very simple: (excerpted) It's the same kind of logical deduction that brings to mind that something stinks.

“I wonder how they expect Cruz to win when his campaign is now nothing more than “Trump is a Poopy-head?”

They don’t expect hm to win. The plan WAS to use Cruz to keep Trump below 1237. They are still hoping against hope that Ted can do THAT much.

If Trump were denied on the first ballot, they planned to squash Ted like a bug and switch in !Yeb or Mitt. But now, he may not last long enough to be useful.

a proven history of even worse behavior.

If you brag about your bad behavior, you aren’t going to be blackmailed. If a politician has something to hide - even minor - WE have problems. I wouldn’t be surprised if 1/2 of the GOP leadership is hiding bad behavior given the last few years of congress.

I don’t want a president who needs to keep something hidden (for his wife, children, job, marriage, whatever). I don’t know if that’s Cruz at this point but I’ll take an admitted scumbag who I don’t think is hiding anything over someone I have questions about.

On a related note, political blackmail is the biggest reason I’m against the NSA/CIA/FBI/gov having access to data and metadata on phones. And I’ll accept anything apple does to avoid assisting invasion of privacy. I don’t have anything to hide but I guarantee you some of my preferred representatives do. We HAVE TO be able to trust our representatives, especially when they do something that seems unusual. Right now it’s pretty easy to assume “someone” has “something” on a lot of representatives.

FreeRepublic was demonized as a "blog" when we took down Rather, and if you think Buckhead was a 12-year-old on an energy drink, why are you even here?

You may want to reread my post. I said we shouldn't squander our past earned credibility by posting every blog story that has zero substantiation. It take a long time to build a reputation, but only seconds to ruin it.

Where did I insult Buckhead? And to indicate I don't deserve to be here because I dare ask people to exercise some skepticism and restraint?

This is the time of extreme posting that that makes Free Republic the site it is today.

Again, lead, follow or get. out. of. the. way.

I'm not in your way pal, you do what you want. And what are you going to do if I don't "get out of your way"?

Write it again is all caps?

Off to better things, like trying to figure out why the engine is surging on my B&S Opposed Twin. Carb soaking, fingers crossed.

What's funny is this dolt Ed thought it would be a grand idea to inflate the numbers from the OpenSecrets/Time article to make his point

His "article":

Sarah Isgur Flores received a one-time payroll check of $3,582 from Unlocking Potential, which she joined in February 2015 after leaving the Republican National Committee. Two months later, she was paid $148,375 by Carly for America, the super PAC. And one week after that, Flores received an in-kind payment of $12,700 from the Fiorina campaign. She then began receiving biweekly payroll checks of $10,052 as the deputy director of Fiorina’s campaign.

The OpenSecrets/Time article:

Sarah Isgur Flores received a one-time payroll check of $3,582 from Unlocking Potential, which she joined in February 2015 after leaving the Republican National Committee. Two months later, she was paid $48,375 by CARLY for America, the super PAC. And one week after that, Flores received an in-kind payment of $2,700 from the Fiorina campaign and then began receiving biweekly payroll checkss of $4,052 as the deputy director of Fiorina’s campaign, Sadler’s number two.

He literally cut-and-paste that paragraph and then changed the numbers. But what's a little number fudging in service of Trump?

I'm not sure you could even spell Kelo, all the moreso when gasbagged as Tedlim trollbait in a thread discussing potential #LusTED PAC FEC violations...

1. Trump is not running as perfect little conservative
2. Trump is not running on perfect little family values platform
3. Trumps sins are well known and doesn’t try to hide from them.

That is why trump is doing well and not under any suspicions.

I met Mrs. Kelo on her stoop when we were trying to keep the corporatist wolves off of her property. I don’t recall seeing you there. My wife was there. Some Union goons were there. But you I don’t recall. Would you care to debate Kelo and property rights?

I am only interested in truth - and a candidate's relationship to truth.

500 grand from the Cruz superpac to Fiorina has always been utterly perplexing.
Do you have an explanation for this?

> Has anyone considered the fact that the PAC donation may have been strategic to allow Carly more commercials against Ted’s opponents?

Why not do it yourself? Why get another campaign involved?

CARLY for America gave Sarah Flores $48K in April.

Keep The Promise gave CARLY for America $500K in June.

Tell me again how this was supposed to be hush money for Sarah Flores, who by then was working directly on Carly’s campaign and not receiving money from CARLY for America?
