Is Trump the political genius that some have been hinting? Who else, without staff or experience, could rocket to the top of the polls and remain in that perch month after month despite everything? Maybe it’s genius, or maybe its shamelessness. The latter can be mistaken for the former. This week’s new slog in the mud demonstrates one of Trump’s techniques to perfection — he flings filth at an opponent and then invites the docile press to conclude that “both sides” are engaged in unseemly brawling. (This is usually John Kasich’s moment to shake his head sadly and remind voters that, golly gee, he would never do such things.)
The “wife spat” began, as these things always do, with a Trump shiv. An independent PAC, Make America Awesome, published practically nude pictures — fully available in the public domain — of Melania Trump from a GQ photo shoot from the early 2000s, and invited viewers to consider whether someone who posed for such pictures would make an appropriate first lady. Trump then grabbed this small ad as excuse to hurl accusations at one of his opponents (wonder why he didn’t accuse Kasich?), tweeting that he believed Cruz to be responsible for the ad and threatening to “spill the beans” about Heidi Cruz if Cruz weren’t “careful.”
Cruz had nothing to do the the Make America Awesome ad. But before getting to the rest of the imbroglio, and at the risk of seeming utterly Victorian in this sorry time, it seems to me that Melania’s history as a nude model is not completely out of bounds as an election issue for voters. I do not believe in polls - In Honors Poli-Sci we were taught that they measure nothing but are powerful tools of manipulation of weak minded people in groups. Saying that I will use them against such as you since you have shown a high level of gullibility.

Trump has a pattern of picking on women’s looks. It speaks volumes about him. He is a pig, and more than half the women in the country know it.

Because their overall jealousy drives them insane ???

Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson rattled off a list of attacks three days after Trump first made the threat.
"Spilling the beans is quite simple when it comes to Heidi Cruz," Pierson said in an interview with MSNBC's Steve Kornacki.
"She is a Bush operative; she worked for the architect of NAFTA, which has killed millions of jobs in this country; she was a member on the Council on Foreign Relations who — in Sen. Cruz's own words, called a nest of snakes that seeks to undermine national sovereignty; and she's been working for Goldman Sachs, the same global bank that Ted Cruz left off of his financial disclosure," Pierson said.
"Her entire career has been spent working against everything Ted Cruz says that he stands for," she added.
You need to tell this to Trump and the Trumpkins who in the early primaries were obsessed with polls. This you cannot deny. Trump would spend nearly all the time of his “victory” speeches speaking of the polls. As the saying goes those who live by the polls die by the polls. The most recent national polls now show a nosedive for Trump and he is cratering. Poor Trumpkins who have supported this reality star con artist and vulgarian will be left to put out the smoking embers of this predictable Hindenburg disaster.
Nah you’re taking this too hard. This is what it takes to win a primary if you are not the kingmakers choice. We’ve just never seen anyone actually fight the media and the establishment. It’s ugly but once the primary is over and we have either trump or Cruz the tone will change. More than likely it will be trump and he will sound more presidential than any

Women are not saps. No one with an ounce of sense cared about Heidi’s picture. What a joke this whole thing is, Cruz is running around like a chicken without his head while talking about copulating with rats.

All I can say is....... I hope you're right and it settles down after the primary. I've got a bad feeling about all the anger and division fomented this election cycle

On to the most important issue of this mess -
How will Cruz stop amnesty IF (and that’s a huge if) he were the nominee and ultimately POTUS?
He won’t, he can’t, all his backers are for open borders and how the Cruz voters keep missing this is scary!
Every Cruz fan comes back with some garbage about Trump, utterly refusing to give me assurance that Cruz can and/or will stop amnesty!

This is an excellent point. Large real estate projects can get out of control quickly if you don't watch over them like a hawk. The contractors will eat you alive if they detect one bit of weakness. It's a profitable business to be sure but not everybody can be profitable in it. Take your eyes off a project for one second and a few million dollars can go down a black hole. I have family in the real estate business and they make a good living. But they work their butts off and they are constantly stressed out about one thing or another. I want a guy like that as President with real world experience.
