I ask you and others to understand this takes place every four years.
People gather behind the person of their choice, and it gets ugly.
Later on we gather together and in time we become one big happy dysfunctional family again. “:^)
Thank you Doughty One, for the reminder. It is comforting. I have been through this cycle too, and it is always distressing. It just seems this year is particularly onerous.
I just looked at our initial FR sign up dates - if I’m reading the dates correctly, we were within days of each other!
My first intro to FR was seeing the October Washington DC rally protesting Clinton. It must have been 1997. I lurked for a while then signed up. What sold me were the wonderful signs and the humor of our people shown on the DC mall, and the same humor of the people who showed up here in Jim Rob’s living room!
