An Open Letter to Donald Trump Supporters
The Common Truth ^ | 3/24/2016 | Robert D. Arco

Posted on 03/25/2016 6:20:15 PM PDT by 20yearsofinternet

I write to you this morning my fellow Americans, my fellow patriots and fellow Christians because God has put it on my heart to make this appeal to you. I am not here to bash you or tell you your choice is wrong. I am going to ask you to just respectfully listen to what I have to say and then I in turn, respectfully leave the decision to you. I ask as a patriot who for the past several years has fought for everything we value and who fully understands the anger and frustration with our politicians.

What I ask this morning is to please open your hearts, your minds and tap into your wisdom as I tell you about Ted Cruz. Don’t close the page; don’t just tune out because I said Senator Cruz’s name. You are not stupid and I think you can handle what I have to say as if I were there with you stating my case.

First, let me dispel some myths that are just so far off yet; seem to be propagated across social media. Ted Cruz is not a globalist and has always fought for the sovereignty of our country. His wife, Heidi is not a globalist and the smears against her were created by the John Birch Society and used by his opponent in his race for the Senate. You can read about it here in this article; Anatomy of a Smear – Heidi Cruz.

Ted Cruz has never been an establishment candidate and in fact, the establishment hated him because he stuck to the values and principles that his people elected him for. He has never taken money from George Soros and he is not in the pocket of banks or Wall Street.

Dear author of this article. I am so very sorry for you.

PS: I have asked God. Ted Cruz is not it.

I’m hearing both sides of that opinion. Some say Ted is eligible, the next day others say he is not. I tend to think that he is , especially now that Neil Bush has been assigned to his team. The Bushes (Jeb! not included) would not waste their time, influence or money if he wasn’t eligible.

That's because the Bushes have their standards. It would be unseemly for them to come right out and support Hillary. The marxist muslim uniparty must stand together /s

I hear about Cruz all the time on Christian radio. One thing I never hear on Christian radio is that’s it’s okay to give less than 1% of my income.

If you’re the author of this article, do you donate less than 1% to your church? Is it okay to do so?

I was hearing all the great things Ted wanted us to know. He didn’t want us to know that he gave less than 1% to his church. I wonder if there is more he doesn’t want us to know.

If voting for Cruz did not mean a cross vote for the likes of Glen Beck, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, and all their little dogs too, I would.

In fact until it became clear that glen beck is attached at Ted's hip, I was very willing to support him.

Adding the others which I can't wait to get rid of, made it damn near impossible to vote for him.

Why on earth would I help them stick around?

I’m hearing both sides of that opinion.

You aren't hearing jack but spin.

Rafael Cruz is not eligible to seek the Presidency. His Mother may have held Canadian citizenship in 1970 when he was born. His father was a Cuban national.

Cruz did not renounce his Canadian citizenship until 2014!

The Republican establishment is only supporting Cruz to prevent Trump from securing the 1,237 magic number of delegates.

Once that goal is accomplished, Cruz will become an after-thought. Just like he's an after-thought now in the Senate. He is the last ugly girl at the bar getting hit on by drunken GOPe club goers trying to score.

Cruz cannot campaign nationally, and his sex scandals and association with Beck and the GOPe (until they destroy him) will make him lose the base.

As for Donald Trump, I view him as a type of Samson, whom YHWH raised up to bring down the Temple of Dagon on the Philistines. Read Judges 13-16 and then look at the characteristics Donald Trump shares with Samson: Doesn’t drink, ever; has really wild hair; is really harsh if you treat him badly or unfairly; ran around with a lot of foreign women.

Let's make sure Trump never cuts his hair, then.

("The Democrats are upon you, Donald!" cried Megyn.)

When asked in a debate who he believes is someone who he would consult on foreign policy, Donald Trump said it is Richard Haas.

If you do not know who Richard Haas is then you cannot complain about Heidi Cruz's small and unimportant role she occupied at the CFR. She was one of thirty two people who contributed to a report and contributed just one nondescript paragraph that supported private investment without ever supporting a North American union. Hardly the "globalist" that has been used as a rallying cry against her husband by the propagandists and conspiracy theorists aimed at influencing the critically thinking challenged sound bite influenced American.

So, who is Richard Haas? Richard Haas, the man Donald Trump picked as the one whose counsel he holds in the highest regard is none other than the president of The Council on Foreign Relations.

Not interested in an out of touch Casper milquetoast that does not have a clue about Cruz . He should have gone to confession after that article even if he is not Catholic’

And yet Cruz would be brilliant on the Supreme Court, methinks.

I don't even want Cruz on SCOTUS. The guy sided with leftist rioters over the First Amendment rights of a fellow candidate and his supporters. What makes you think, as a justice on the Supreme Court, will Cruz defend your rights?

I agree that the whole Heidi thing is ridiculous as are the small secured bank loans. I voted for Cruz and if he wins it’s much better than Hillary. I guess a few things have neutralized me, among which are crazy Glenn Beck and Cruz blaming Trump instead of the protesters in Chicago. He wants to win but he shouldn’t abandon his principles to do so.

You just don’t get it. There is no trust. So because there is no trust, none of his positions matter. He is an establishment tool, working for globalism and GS.

I have judged Ted Cruz by what I've seen with my own eyes since he began his campaign.

I would never have thought that I would see Ted Cruz play the race card against a political opponent, knowing that the charge was totally false.

That was the first big warning sign that Cruz was not as he seemed.

Then came the canceled Trump rally, the violent organized criminal thuggery, and Cruz's famously tone-deaf and opportunistic response to it.

Those two missteps combined to teach me everything I needed to know about Ted Cruz: he is loyal only to his own self-interest, which now includes an insatiable desire to become the GOP nominee in any way possible, even by jumping into bed with the GOPe, which he now has done.

He sold his soul. To those who favor the GOPe, I'm sure he attracted more support. To those who see what the GOPe really is, it led, appropriately, to concern and disgust.

I'll still support Cruz if he's the nominee, but I will not in any way work towards his nomination.

And Ted Cruz can't win the GOP nomination by having the most delegates; now, he can only win with the help of GOPe shenanigans at the convention.

And that kind of stunt, my fellow Patriots, will guarantee that Hillary wins the White House...
