I don’t like testily arguing with friends but I wrote all this out so I’m gonna send it. I hope we can just agree to disagree and remain FRiends.

You wanna keep harping on birther nonsense after it’s been thrown out of court? Go ahead. You’ll get amens from people that already agree with you and eye rolls from everyone else.

If Ted Cruz is elected he’ll be sworn in whether Larry Tribe likes it or not. Serious people say talk to the hand, tough doody for birthers. :( I’m through debating the nonsense on it’s merits, because it doesn’t have any merits.

Yeah, they are helping him right now whether you care to believe it or not. They want him nominated because he’ll provide ratings while probably losing, their dream GOP candidate.

They want him to be nominated and THEN they want to destroy him. They’ve been gleefully sowing discord in the GOP but they haven’t turned the nuclear missiles at him yet. If he’s nominated you’ll see the difference.

No, dirty is not what I want but that’s what he have. Last I checked Trump was still attacking Cruz (as are many of his supporters here in imitation of him) but Cruz/Third parties that oppose Trump/freepers that oppose Trump can’t fight back? That is called a double standard my friend. I’m quite tired of it.

Donny wants to sling mud? He can go ahead, but he dares to whine about it being thrown back? Neither Trump nor any of his supporters have a right to do that after the crap he has pulled. He took the gloves off and hit the ref over the head with a chair, him. His opponents tried to take the high road while he TUNNELED UNDERGROUND but it didn’t work so they started fighting back and I’m glad they did. Don’t expect anti-Trumps to just surrender. He’ll do anything to win, obviously, and there are those that will do anything to stop him, that’s where we’re at, whether any of us likes it not. HIS choice, not mine, I’m just a guy with a computer.

Frank Drebin, good one. Maybe I’ll call Jon Snow to come patrol Trump’s wall, maybe he knows some magic that will help built it too. It would take magic.

Giving money to Hillary Clinton and Harry Reid was a funny way for him to back up his alleged opposition to illegal immigration.

In 1999 he said the “I really believe the Republicans are just too crazy right” and switched his voter registration in anticipation of running for President as the Reform Party candidate (he ultimately decided not to).

Since his central idea is an implausible wall that he damn well knows isn’t going to be built, I have zero faith in him on that issue, no more than I would have in Rubio.

There is only one thing I’m certain he believes, that he should be President. He’s clearly willing to say or do anything he thinks will help achieve that including lying to you to sucker you into voting for him.

The man is the clearest example of an egomaniac that I have ever seen. I am tired of being browbeaten into giving up and helping measure his head for it’s crown. I’m not going to, ok? If he’s the nominee I’ll vote for him to stop Hillary, with all the same enthusiasm with which I voted for McCain and Romney, that is to say, little. I will never support nominating him or anyone like him. To me he’s in the same class as Kasich and Jeb, detritus that I wish wasn’t in my party.

Does he inspire you? If so, good for you. He doesn’t inspire me, whatever you see, I see a man selling a used car. You think he’ll win and be great? You have a right to your opinion. I disagree strongly my friend, strongly. I see nominating him as blowing a golden opportunity to win this election with someone good (that every single freeper loved until they decided they loved Trump more and that anyone standing against him should be destroyed)

In reply to 185:

Hahahahahahahahahahha. FR threads on that National Enquirer garbage are getting pulled. Gee, I wonder why.

One candidate has bragged about sleeping around and it’s not Ted Cruz. Expect to hear way more than you care to hear about it if Trump is nominated, the media is hardly touching Trump’s sex life yet (I refer you back to reply to #182).

I’m glad you still think of me as a friend.

I am.

You care deeply about the USA. You work tirelessly on behalf of those sacred restripes, and God bless you for it!

And as a friend, sometimes I’m going to point out a few things that you might not like to hear.

~~~
Don’t forget ... you brought up the birther issue not me.
I loathe Lawrence Tribe more than any other professor, AND .. I had not brought up the Birther Issue to anyone in a long time for that simple fact that most Cruz supporters insist on trusting others’ opinions rather than study original intent for themselves.
I conceded to their stubborness a long time ago and even advised others to quit antagonizing Cruz supporters about the birther issue. Too provocative.
But you brought it up and described an accurate interpretation of the Constitution as ‘psychotic’ simply because judges agree with you.
~~~

As to ‘dirty campaigning’ ...

‘Third parties that oppose Trump/freepers that oppose Trump can’t fight back? That is called a double standard my friend. I’m quite tired of it.’

I don’t blame you. And I’ll quit trying to call for unity. Pointless now. And granted, Trump makes unity a challenge.

But anyone who knows Trump would know better than to hit him below the belt. It’s not just because of what he might do, but what his friends might do. Here’s what I mean ...

Rubio’s fingerprints are all over the National Enquirer report, not Trump’s. [Links coming up in post to ‘whoever’]

Although ...

Trump has strong friendships, and they take personal initiative. The National Enquirer editor is a friend of his and probably chose this time for a reason.

Secondly, names are out there. The truth will come out one way or the other.
