Cruz blew it. Instead of highlighting our 1st Amendment to Free Speech, he instead attacks Trump. Cruz you blew it big time.
You should of talked about the importance of the 1st Amendment and why we have the 2nd Amendment to support the 1st Amendment. So long Cruz.
NO, me and mine still support Ted Cruz. But we do recognize now that is it politically incorrect to say anything against Trump. Tactic used to shut people up.

Watch Ted Cruz engage with a protestor, using diplomacy they have a civil discourse of opinions there is no disrespectful comment by Cruz to the protestor. Protester/Cruz at 10:00
No.
Let’s see.... should I be concerned about Ted Cruz speaking his mind concerning Trump’s hate filled words and actions? No! Triumph has been a bully, NASTY and a liar throughout the primary season. Let’s face it, if it were the other way around, Trump would not have wasted a moment crucifying him. Trump is reaping what he has sowed.
Not at all. I agreed with him.
Apparently the dissatisfaction is not limited to FR. Cruz has lost roughly 25% of his Twitter followers since last night, and his Facebook page is being bombarded with condemnation for taking the side of the leftist and BLM agitators.
This whole issue of BLM Nazi thugs denying free speech and free assembly to Trump and his supporters and the Cruz blaming it all on Trump, can only boost Trump vote counts in subsequent primaries. How can it not?
I voted for Cruz in the Senate race here in Texas, but voted for Trump in the primary. I will no longer support Cruz in the future for anything.
It changed mine. We vote on Tuesday in MO and I was planning on voting for Cruz. I am so disgusted with him not blaming the people disrupting the event and for political gain blaming Trump. I am going to vote Trump on Tuesday.
Since what Cruz said is manifestly true, his remarks didn't change my support on principle, but it also seemed to me that the emphasis should have been on condemning the Move On thugs, and that Trump would have soon provided another opportunity to call him out on his own actions, and so, I expected to find myself a defacto Trump supporter since he appeared to be on the virge of clinching the nomination, due largely to Ted's unforced error.
But today, Trump's more rabid supporters are giving me pause. One cannot have a rational conversation about the man, or even policy matters. Many Trumpists appear to have transformed themselves into Social Justice Warriors -- people who disagree with even one element of their party line are not just wrong, but evil. Dissent is not to be met with reason, but is to be silenced. You can even see a diluted version of that tendency here on FR.
After all of that, I find myself ever more solidly in the Cruz camp.
Nope.
NO.....,
The comments that p’zz me off all come from trump or his disciples.
No Cruz stated the truth, Trump voters are stupid and Trump is inciting violence towards the peaceful BLM, Muslim Brotherhood, Bernie’s Marxists anarchists and Glenn Becks’ brown shirts. How dare Trump!
I did notice Trump supporters spewing about how they were not going to support Cruz, etc.
To look at that scum, those stinking commies that were in Chicago last night and cut them any slack at all is beyond the pale..! To do so is to fall into that same political correctness bull crap that's being used by the left to destroy our Country and our liberties....
I really don't like Trump...but to blame him for all the Fascism and communism in the world is just stupid....
The one thing Cruz does have going for him now is the fact that the story DID come from the New York Slimes....lets hope it's wrong.....
Nope
I have kind of gone back and forth between Cruz and Trump, not thrilled with either because I have issues with each of them, but eventually voted for Cruz in the primary. So doubt was there already, but his comments yesterday just totally turned me off of him.
To answer your original question, i am a Cruz supporter who is rethinking things in light of Cruz’s comments on Chicago. so disappointed in ted
I was very disappointed in Cruz on this. I’m waiting to see if he “revises” his comments, which is what a decent person should do when he is wrong in the heat of a political campaign.
