They fear an independent minded President that has no control over him.

OF course. Trump would be nothing except for his support base.

I think they’re getting there. I think they no longer know what to do to control us.

Thats true.

So why not take advantage of the opportunity and get behind a candidate who promises to restore the Constitution?

In sports, a close game is often won by the team with the loudest/strongest group of people in the stands that cheer them on. Many times that momentum is the difference in winning or losing.

I saw Bernie Goldberg on BOR last night with another of his fuming anti-Trump diatribes. He says that Trump is a walking middle finger to the elites. Goldberg, being one of the neo-con elites, is naturally outraged, and has been bashing Trump since day one. The neo-cons and their open borders toadies are desperate, and they will go all out to destroy Trump, and really stick it to those who support him. The Washington Examiner has even threatened republican politicians of retaliation if they support Trump. That site is owned by the same people who own the Weakly Standard. Then you have Glenn Beck, another toady, saying that if he got within reach of Trump “the stabbing wouldn’t stop.” Many of them are becoming completely unhinged.

Well, the GOP establishment fears him because he’s going to lose the election by 20 points and take Congress with him. The Democratic Washington establishment doesn’t fear him that’s for sure. Really, after last night you either have to be completely dense or a graduate of “Trump University” to want to vote for him.

No they fear Trump because they can’t control him. We the people, they simply despise.

They’re ready to give the presidency, senate and thus SCOTUS to the Ds in order to prove they are in control of the process and not the voters.

They are nearing the point where many/most Trump voters won’t support the Rs if Trump is not the nominee. And many/most non-Trump voters won’t support the Rs if Trump is the nominee. That can happen well before a contested convention if they keep trashing Trump and Cruz. And that’s not just for president in the GE but also for senate which can go D.

That’s what we want! If they have any thoughts in the back of their head about taking Trump out - one way or another, they need to fear the consequences, personally. They need to know that we will hold them accountable.

The establishment does not fear Trump.

Of course they don't fear Trump...they are just trying to figure out how to get their hooks in him...

When Trump (if) gets the nomination, watch how cozy he and the GOPe snuggle up...

They now fear You The People behind Trump for the first time in a very long time.

No they don't fear us, they despise us...

How much do you think the GOP elites will change if Trump is elected ? ...I don't think very much until their election cycle comes up, most are in very safe seats and they know it......

Here's a thought to think over...

What if the GOPe is purposely going full bore anti-Trump to keep the base riled up and angry to make sure the GOTV is huge against Clinton...

and Trump knows it!!!

"Can you taste the Establishment's fear? It's delicious

I don't see fear, I see pigheaded obstinacy.

If you were correct, and you are not, they would never consider for a NY minute, the obvious attempt to force a brokered convention. This hurts Cruz supporters more than it does Trump, in terms of delegates,(as everyone stays in to split the vote) and Trumpers can rest easy that their guy is going to the convention.

The only question is how many delegates he will have when he gets there.

In addition to that, the blowback on the GOP from all candidate supporters would be very significant. In fact, it's a suicide pact.
