My view: The Establishment does not fear Trump. They now fear You The People behind Trump

My view: The establishment does not fear Trump. They now fear You The People behind Trump for the first time in a very long time.

They thought the March 3rd Debate would bury Trump with the 1-2-3 combo of Romney, the Cuban Luchadores and FOX. The after debate polls showed trump with a larger lead than ever.

Can you taste the Establishment's fear? It's delicious.

It might be amusing for a little while. But I’d want to be heavily armed, with a full tank of gas.

Think again. Trump is going to constantly use his Twitter bully pulpit to put pressure on people who need persuasion.  True, no individual person has power, but collectively we do.  And collectively we are bringing down the GOPe under Trump's and Cruz's leadership.

I'm talking about Ford, Nabisco, etc.  They can move their plants to Mexico, but what if Americans stop buying Fords?

Toyota makes most of the cars it sells in America at US plants employing US workers.  But if no political pressure was put on them, then Toyota would happily make all its cars in Japan.

In the big industries that employ millions of people, it's nice to have the manufacturing knowhow in the country.

Why is China so eager to have Boeing build a plant in China?

In other cases it doesn't matter so much.  For instance, almost all clothes today are manufactured in Asia.  If that weren't the case then department stores could never afford to staff their stores with clerks.  In this case, the low cost of clothing made in Indonesia enables retail jobs in the USA.

You are right.

I am a Cruz supporter, but Trump is my second choice.

But, I’ll tell you: If Cruz does not come out and strongly disavow and condemn Glen Beck for his insane comment about the knife I am switching to Trump as my first choice.

‘Been lurking here a long long time. I’ve see it all.’

For someone who did all that lurking, you only managed to last two hours on the forum before getting zotted. That’s remarkable.

To me, all of these "shiny ball" distractions directed at Trump by the media, GOP establishment and media, does nothing except try to avert our eyes from the fact that Trump looks and feels like a winner. He will win the nomination. And go on to out-scorch-earth-Hillary in the general election.

Cruz is fine except for the most important issue...he can't win. And if he does in the primary, then he can't win in the general. Being a strong conservative is great but if you can't win, it make no difference.

So there is no "choice" remaining. It's either Trump or Hillary. And it ain't going to be Hillary.

I have some friends who ask me incredulously, "How could you vote for Trump given the way he acts and speaks?"

My answer is simple. I voted for him (I've already voted early in Florida) because I'm tired of playing that "vote-for-this-fake-conservative-again" that the GOP establishment elites jam down our throats every four years. Remember that strong conservative McLame? Or that real go-getter, Bob Dole? Or meek, mild, moderate liberal Mitt?

And now we have a winner in Trump and the GOPe are dumping on him big-time because he is not conservative enough? Like they've put forward a conservative candidate in the past? When?

Trump is a winner. He exudes leadership, winning and success. Perception is everything. He is not playing the same game as everybody else. He's playing his own game by his own rules. And he's good at it.

And to the complaints about his potty mouth and intemperate comments, I can only say that I don't micro-manage my candidate's day-to-day comments or shift my support every time he says something people don't like or says something shocking that critics think should disqualify him. I wince occasionally like many people do at certain things he says and don't agree with his rough edges or crude insults, but I'm looking for a winner. Not another polite, politically correct candidate who can't win the election. We've had too many candidates like that who are lost in the dust of history's dirt road.

So it is a moot question whether we should pick Trump or someone else to support. It's already a done deal. It comes down to Trump or Hillary. A no brainer.

Glenn Beck has been deranged for a long, long, time. He shouldn’t be allowed to walk around outside on his own.

That Cruz has brought him out of his cell and into the Presidential race is spooky. I’m not surprised he’s threatening to stab Mr. Trump.

I wasn’t “zotted”.
What I have seen is that a lot of very good people that would post and comment with intelligence seem to not bother anymore due to anger or idiotic remarks by others. As I have stated, i’ve been watching for 16 years almost daily without participating and have seen a drastic change, and until I decide to donate still won’t have skin in this game, so I have no reason to lie.

Sad thing i’ve seen is there are very few of the old conservative welcoming guards left now. It seems mostly old cranks you would find on their porches shaking their canes at younger people on the sidewalk and shouting “ Hey you kids, get outta my yard!Stop having so much fun!” if it weren’t for the internet.

Is Lazamataz still here or did he get zotted? Haven’t seen joe probono in a while either he never typed a word, just pictures..For those that welcomed me to FR ,Thank you very much.
