What will Trump’s enemies in Washington do when he wins BECAUSE of them, not despite them?
Coach is Right ^ | 3/2/16 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

In the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump’s solid and convincing performance on Super Tuesday, his enemies (who are my enemies by extension) started churning out desperate essays bemoaning the coming end of America.

Some of the more telling headlines screamed: “Here’s how Rubio and Cruz can still take down Trump”; “Lindsey Graham: Oh God, We Might Have To Back Ted Cruz To Save Our Party;” “Trump is the next Barack Obama”; and my favorite considering the source: “Mitt Romney’s top strategist says Hillary Clinton would be a better president than Donald Trump.”

These people are joined by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, both of whom are making believe they have not heard Trump’s complete repudiation of the KKK and are moaning about “No nominee of our Party can stand for these things” or some such nonsense. These liars know otherwise but can’t think of anything else to attack Trump with.

So what are the chances that these “Saviors of America” will see Trump taken down?

The exit polls from Super Tuesday say, “Slim to none.”

Some of the data points show real trouble for those who want Trump stopped.

As in all other states where these polls have been taken, almost 60% of Republicans feel betrayed by their Party. This means when Trump wins it all he will have done so BECAUSE of GOP attacks not just in spite of them.

The bogus claims that Trump appeals to a narrow segment of Republicans who are not really conservatives was once again proved wrong. Forty percent of the Super Tuesday Republican voters called themselves “very conservative” and another 38% “somewhat conservative.” Trump won most of those states. When lumped together and all states are included, Trump won every category of voter possible.

Even among Cruz’s strongest supporters the Evangelicals...

Looks like they were shooting a movie...or some Crazy Dave type thing. Not a real suicide.

I'd leave that part out of the suggestion. Concrete will do fine.

#6 I believe that Cruz would support Trump's efforts to build the wall once in office as he said he would support the laws to enforce Immigration.

He hasn't welched on any other promise he made when he ran for senate....

I also believe he will take a political club to him if he starts veering left once in office on things like Supreme Court Nominees, Sanctuary Cities....etc.

Cruz comes from a family where both his mother and father had drinking problems, he was arrested for underage drinking, had trouble with drinking in college and beyond. Recently he described himself to Anderson Cooper as a “Scotch Man” although he said he also loved Whisky and other hard liquors. I have never known a hard drinking politician who wasn’t also a liar. I am surprised that the fools who have been taken in by him do not see a problem with his drinking.

WOW....really. Just WOW!

So how about you lay out your Mental Diagnosis for a Womanizing, Stalking, foul mouthed liberal who would attack little old Ladies as pigs to get a chunk of property so he could have a better view of the Ocean from his golf course? Feel free to maybe address the part about being sued multiple times for civil fraud, filing corp. bankruptcy 4 times, paying a 1 Million Dollar fine for hiring Illegal Polish workers to avoid paying into American Workers Pension funds...

Also as long as you are going to attribute drinking of a Parent as a mental Condition of a sibling perhaps you can also tie in Donald's Daddy's ties to the KKK back in the 20s. Because I am sure they are as relevant as your rational for Cruz.

But lemme guess, tRumpf is the bomb!

So how about you lay out your Mental Diagnosis for a Womanizing,

There is no diagnosis there; just a lifetime spent in a family where alcoholism has been a big problem. But here is a diagnosis: The first time I saw him, I knew from his glassy eyes, the busted corpuscles at the end of his drinkers nose, he way he looks ten years older than his actual age... and most importantly his inability to get along with others and keep friends. Ted Cruz is a high functioning alcoholic. Alcoholics lie more than those with any other addiction that I am aware of. When I looked it up I found out he had lots of problems with alcohol from an early age and so did his parents.

Interesting.

What I cannot understand is how Cruz supporters ignore his lying. I consider Cruz a psychopathic liar.

Oh - should have added - and he uses very oily lawyeresque verbiage to trick people while lying.

He’s so much worse than I ever thought, although when he entered the race I knew he had bad motives due to his obvious lack of eligibility.

It is amazing to me that two Cubans of questionable eligibility have now questioned the motives and patriotism of Trump on numerous occasions. Trump doesn’t need this aggravation. I am surprised that Trump loves his country enough to make this sacrifice. Cruz truly is the slimiest person we have seen on the Republican side that I can remember.

To me it shows how repulsively evil the people are who want to keep the US subjugated as their plaything. Rubio is just as bad, just not quite as polished aka “shiny”. Cruz as tricked otherwise intelligent people by his Mr. Pious Holy mask, or his Mr.Constitutionalist mask.

Great post...Wish i could answer those questions...Isn’t that the crux of the whole Trump tidal wave? Great questions that i seriously don’t think could be answered. Reagan had to deal with Congress....He fought it everyday....pretty successfully!

Here first link is just a google search of Ted Cruz alcohol. The more you dig however the more will turn up. I am sure you are already aware that both of his parents and his sister have had severe problems. Ted’s situation is not as obvious but there are a lot of little things that those of us who have family members and close friends who are alcoholics recognize.

https://www.google.com/search?num=100&q=ted+cruz+alcohol&oq=ted+cruz+alcohol&gs_l=serp.3..0.321411.322475.0.323399.5.5.0.0.0.0.128.431.4j1.5.0....0...1c.1.64.serp..0.5.424.z5AyKZ7eWX4

Ted speaks at alcoholics anonymous a couple weeks ago, but doesn’t admit anything about himself of course.

“...Reagan had to deal with Congress....He fought it everyday....pretty successfully!...”

If only Trump had Reagan’s interpersonal skills, Reagan could counter his opponents in congress and leave them smiling. Trump is well known for his lack of interpersonal skills.

When trump has all the leverage in his “business realm”, then throwing down “his way or the highway” can work. I’m pretty sure he’s not going to have any immediate leverage against congress — other than claiming a “voter mandate” that congress can ignore with impunity (they clearly don’t care about their approval ratings).

So, he will have to find something congress badly wants, enough so that they will surrender on what trump badly wants. So you are spot on, in that we have no idea how to answer the question. Hopefully, it will be something the nation can recover from eventually. Like I mentioned previously, We won’t know until after the General election. Sounds a bit like Pelosi’s, “We have to pass it to find out what’s in it”, but in this case, we have to elect Trump to find out what he’s willing to trade in his negotiations. I hope it’s not more Sotomayors and Kagens.
