how can filings be passed when we don’t even have a candidate yet. for the general. primary ok. if a brokered election on both sides occur how does that make the candidates ineligible if the filings are past. i think i am missing something.

Check out Rule 37...I think they plan on stripping the delegates from anyone that walks in with the magic number. The way to do that is to have the delegates vote by “secret ballot” that way the delegates are not “Bound” on the first round. Its all a done deal. Say hello President Hillary “Vagina” Clinton

If Trump has the majority of delegates (1237) heading into the convention and the clear majority or even plurality of actual votes, they will not attempt it.
One way Trump could ensure they don’t is to get his name on the ballot on all 50 states so he could then run independently like Perot did in 1992 as insurance should the GOPe attempt and succeed in what would be a political coup - taking the sure nomination away from Trump and say giving it to Romney.
However, like I pointed out, the GOPe mega-donors with the tacit approval of the GOPe, can finance a third party run by Romney or get say Ted Cruz to run for President on the Constitution Party ticket while still keeping his GOP Senate seat, similar to Ron Paul keeping this GOP house seat while running for President as the Libertarian Party Candidate in 1988.
If either of the above plays out, this would likely take votes away from Trump and hand the election to Hitlery!!!

Don’t put anything past the GOPe. If they can’t deny Trump the nomination due to his have the required 1237 pledged delegates, then don’t be surprised if they finance a third party run by Romney or possibly even Ted Cruz on an established 3rd party ticket like the Constitution Party.

They don't need Romney. They have Rubio. I've said it before; the GOPe will eff Trump over at the convention. Rubio will be the republican nominee. Trump will run 3rd party. Hillary will be president.
