how can filings be passed when we don’t even have a candidate yet. for the general. primary ok. if a brokered election on both sides occur how does that make the candidates ineligible if the filings are past. i think i am missing something.

Primaries usually determine candidate presented at convention.

This year is a little unusual because:

1. There are several candidates.
2. The GOPe is determined to thwart Trump’s bid.
