The political elites hate him and are spending millions to try and stop him. I will be honest, when Trump first said he was running I really didn't care and hardly followed it. But now in my 7th year of writing for NTEB, I have become quite adept at looking for the "story within the story" to try and get at the truth. When I saw the hatred for Trump, not just from the loony Left but from the Republicans and Conservatives, I have to tell you my ears perked up. "Why did they hate him so much?", I wondered. Then it became clear.

Would you maybe be talking about all the hate heaped upon Cruz and his supporters by Trump and his supporters? What was that little thing about casting the first stone?
Do tell us all what you think about that “little casting the first stone” thing.
Very good article. Thanks.
We plan on voting in primaries this week. - I’m not keen on
politicians in general. I admire Trump’s self-funding.
I do not agree with him on Planned Parenthood as you cannot
pick up a log of feces by one end and not get poop on
your hand. - I also don’t like the criticism of “Bush” for
Iraq based on the WMD situation, one that is confusing all
around. Huge convoys were filmed removing weapons to Syria
from Iraq. Saddam Hussein boasted of WMD’s. Hindsight is
always 20/20, & I’m not convinced that Trump stood against
Iraq at that time. He says he did. Maybe he did or not. -
Anyway, bottom line is this: Whoever the Republican Party
puts up as their candidate, I will crawl over rough gravel
to get to the polls and vote for them EXCEPT more GOPe
offerings. Wasted my votes too many times and am done with
that stuff.
I’m not casting anything, simply pointing out hypocrisy when I see it, whether it is from Trump supporters or Cruz supporters. I haven’t insulted either one, how about you? This whole load of manure stinks with everyone backstabbing and infighting, we are looking to elect a President, not a deity.
my present understanding of Scripture is that it’s God and God alone who *elects* born-again Christians—that that information is in a sealed Book which God doesn’t share with anyone until Judgement Day.
thus, i don’t think it’s possible for men to *elect* one. to even attempt to elect a born-again Christian is a bit like man trying to play god in my book.
the only way to go is on fruits.
I hear you, and yet I’ve been called all sorts of things by the sophomoric knee-jerk responses both sets of supporters have for each other.
I’ve said many times that I’d vote for Cruz even if Trump doesn’t get the nomination. A lot of Cruz supporters by their own words have said they will sit it out if their man doesn’t get in.
That is exactly is how we will lose (again)! I honestly won’t have a problem voting Rubio if he’s the guy either. At this point, what else is there to salvage?
I’m about as sick as you are of the backstabbing/infighting. It’s an election year though and you know this happens.
Main thing is we need to stick together during the General Election.
I could vote for Trump or Cruz Or Cruz or Trump, I like them both and feel there is plenty of time for me, California’s primary is in June I think, to make a final decision. I would like for some rational discussion and and articles to be posted, but aside from the attacks on Bush, Rubio, and the others which I have to admit I have partaken of, all I see are the Trump and Cruz camps playing my dog is bigger than your dog.
Actually I called the comment of the person who called people haters hateful but hate to be nitpicky.
Its hateful to be hateful to those who find your postings hateful because they are hateful.
The author does a hell of a job setting up straw men to knock down.
Weird that he left out Trump’s profiting from strip clubs and casinos. Or his multiple divorces. Or his ego/pride. Or his insistence on attacking people personally rather than their positions. Or his allowing/accepting his wife posing nude.
I get why a lot of people support Trump. I may not agree with them, but I can understand their reasoning. But when it comes to these pastors who endorse him or those who are quite religious, it boggles my mind. What next, will they endorse Hugh Heffner for office?
Ruh-roh.
Three examples of a "strong leader"
Because you don't believe God is going to elect who He wants.
LOL!
You prefer weak leaders?
Until now I had only seen the left pull the “haters” card.
I have no issue about Trump being a Christian or not. Just stop pretending to be something you are not.
And I don’t hate him. I just don’t trust him and neither will voters.
And I don’t hate him. I just don’t trust him and neither will voters.
