I really do not understand the antagonism toward marijuana. It was either illegalized by Hearst because he did not want hemp to be grown, due to his huge timber holdings, or because white America - probably the racist dims - did not want a drug that belonged to the black man or the indigenous Indians.

Either one of these scenarios is not really acceptable to either conservatives or libertarians. Why, then, do folks on FR strike out against it?

Prohibition of alcohol was due to a bunch of feminazis who claimed that it caused domestic abuse.

Having worked in a drug rehab center dealing with heroin, speed and meth addicts, pot is NOT a gateway drug.
