Why NH Should Vote for Ted Cruz and not Donald Trump
Granite Grok ^ | February 7, 2016 | Steve MacDonald

Ted Cruz knows that you are the best hope for saving America. But to do that you need a president willing to get the government out of the way so that you can.

"... just like the left, Donald Trump's solutions are all built on the "smarts" of certain gifted people and then empowering those people to navigate the world for the masses. By contrast Ted Cruz' campaign is built on the strength of a set of ideas, where rights, power and responsibility belong to every citizen, not just the gifted few. This is the self-governing model our nation was founded upon, which produced the most free and prosperous nation in history.

America does not merely need "smart" people to try to run our unworkable government and guide every aspect of our lives; America needs to return to smart ideas. A great step in that direction would be teaming up with Ted Cruz who, more than any other candidate still running, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to limiting government corruption the only way possible - limiting government. Unlike most candidates this election, Ted Cruz has never promised to be the savior of America, rather he always points to the ideas that made America." I guess then we are all too educated to build a 9 billion dollar empire. We should save money and stop public education at the 4th grade so everybody can get rich.

How hypocritical to criticize Trump for surrounding himself with smart people when Cruz has spent his entire life trying to prove he is the smartest person in any room he happens to be in .

It’s so sad that people can’t see through Cruz’s charade - but, alas, they do not - they are taken in by his slick, lawyer talk.

Less and less every day.

Well he’s just a youngster. He won’t even be prime POTUS campaign age for another 3 or 4 cycles. So this year is good experience no matter what the outcome.

Trump is so owned by banks he’s probably running just so he can have leverage in his future bankruptcies.

Link, please?

Too many ultra-rich donors...

Despite Cruz^s attacks on his party^s donor class and establishment, the Texas senator Ted Cruz^s GOP campaign has received $37 million from just four donors the Wilks family of Cisco, Texas, New York hedge fund tycoon Bob Mercer, Texas energy investor Toby Neugebauer and Illinois manufacturing moguls Dick and Liz Uihlein.

They don’t know him. Just wait until the country gets to know boots ‘n belly Cruz. In the latest NH poll ole Cruz has the highest negatives. Get in the weeds on the poll and see for yourself.

"Cruz cannot possibly win the Presidential election. I like him, but there’s no way he can win.

It's interesting that Trump supporters keep saying that, yet Trump is the only one of the top three candidates (according to the latest polls) who consistently loses to both Hillary AND Bernie in head-to-head match-ups. The best I've ever seen Trumpster do is tie HRC, and that was only once (last week some time).

Conversely, Cruz beats HC in every head-to-head match-up I have seen over the past few weeks.

CRUZ 2016!

BTW I work at a hotel and restaurant on the NH seacoast and we had two functions here today. One was a meet and greet for Trump Jr. and the other was a dinner meeting for Jeb supporters. There were only a handful of Jeb folks that showed up and nobody came out for Trump. We have a snow storm here today but still....

Talking head fodder. Cruz is an unknown. Trump is well known and right where a Republican should be at this point in time.

In fact, the liklihood is that any Republican presidential candidate will defeat any Democrat in 2016. . .

. . . unless that Republican Presidential candidate happens to be a Democrat.

Roe’s presence makes me suspicious of Ted “Elmer Gantry” Cruz. Nothing like calling up Jesus for this-and-that then doing dirty tricks on the side. Furthermore, I think that Roe has only had one winning candidate on his own and has been hired by others so that he wouldn’t do dirty tricks with the opposition.

Snopes.com has your bullshite little meme about Trump as a complete lie.

Here is their quote:

"Despite People's comprehensive online content archive, we found no interview or profile on Donald Trump in 1998 (or any other time) that quoted his saying anything that even vaguely resembled the words in this meme."

Now, don't you feel like an ass.

America does not merely need “smart” people to try to run our unworkable government and guide every aspect of our lives; America needs to return to smart ideas.

Huh? Me thinks the Jr. Senator from TX needs to go home and rest.
____________________________________________________________

Fundamental difference between Cruz and Trump. Trump believes that smart people like him and some of his elite friends can develop solutions to our economic and other problems.

Cruz believes in constitutional principles and the free market unencumbered by excessive regulations and cronyism.

Look at the computer industry when the first computers were built, IBM figured the world would only have use for 7-10 computers world wide. THe elites never anticipated the development of a personal computer based on microprocessors which were far less powerful than the bit slice processors of the day, they never anticipated the impact of the web and individuals with web development languages.

THey could leverage existing ideas rarely do they actually create innovation. THis is why socialist and communist drive innovation. Tump having been a crony capitalist all his life doesn’t ‘get it’ about how a market oriented system works why grass root solutions are so superior to central planned solutions by elites and “really smart guys”.
