Trump: "Ted Cruz Didn't Win Iowa, He Stole It;" Cruz Committed Voter Fraud
iOTW Report ^ | 2/3/16 | Aurelius

Posted on 02/03/2016 6:33:10 AM PST by rightistight

Accusing Senator Ted Cruz of voter fraud, Donald Trump today argued that Mr. Cruz "stole" the election in Iowa.

"That is why all of the polls were so wrong, and why he got far more votes than anticipated," Mr. Trump said on Twitter, suggesting no one predicted that Mr. Cruz would win:

Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

Mr. Trump then went further, saying Mr. Cruz committed fraud, suggesting that Cruz's campaign suggesting that Ben Carson would drop out amounted to fraud, as did his campaign's mailers about "voting violations:"

Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

The Voter Violation certificate gave poor marks to the unsuspecting voter(grade of F) and told them to clear it up by voting for Cruz. Fraud— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

>> “Some want the man who will continue D.C. politics as they are now” <<

.
That is a nonsensical lie!

There is no support here whatsoever for the old line establishment candidates, even for Rubio, who pretends to straddle the difference.

FR is 99% for those that demand the changes Cruz outlined in 2011.

Wow, you sure are a judge mental person as well as a liar. I think you need to stay off FR for a bit and have some TAWG. You are in sore need of some personal reflection.

If i was asked to predict the outcome of the Election Id be forced to predict that Ross Perot 2016 would garner all the votes needed to ensure a Democrat party victory win

Full disclosure: I’m Cruz first and have been Trump second since he announced ... for some of the reasons I’ve stated.

Saying that..I’ve seen the vitriol from both sides and much has been from the same ones repeatedly — and noticing, if they aren’t able to use logic, they inflame ... or if others use logic, the others throw bombs and go off point.

I also have noticed many of the flamethrowers have recent signup dates, which should lead anyone to believe they’re here for the purpose of disrupting ... while others get caught up in it just because they want to defend their guy. Some are sleeper trolls, of course.

But this is an election year, so here we are...

Sore loser. Also whiney. And bat guano crazy

I might be able to handle all that in a candidate. The main problem with Trump is he is a liberal.

Haha! FR post of the day award! I don’t care who you are, that thar is funny!

Much like djt.. anything you disagree with is deflection or soft..or well what ever.

Sorry to tell you MOST people like the idea of at least a good understating of the way the world works over complete novices. i.e. not knowing what the Nuclear Triad is.

Not accepting defeat and questioning the results, are we so attuned to losing that we can't recognize how to defend ourselves and win?

Whining isn't winning.

No rules were broken, there are zero grounds to have the results invalidated. That makes this whining, as opposed to a legitimate complaint about the integrity of the process.

"My opponent is telling lies about me" is a classic non-response way of not addressing allegations - all candidates make these about their opponents, including Trump. They are counted by actually countering them, something that is admittedly hard to do when you have spent no effort putting people on the ground to actually speak up on your behalf in a caucus.

(Besides, in my opinion, none of them are lies in the first place. Trump's "record" is essentially the history of his public statements, and they're all over the map enough over his lifetime that virtually any label you want to place on him will probably be justified.)

As for the Carson stuff, most of that blame falls squarely on the Carson camp. No NH/SC events scheduled and the candidate, who's been continuing to falter in the polls since his peak, saying he's going home back to Florida after Iowa. Sure gives the impression he's going to quit, even if that's not accurate.

That said, who'd be swayed by that anyway? What idiot would actually carry a campaign all the way to Iowa only to bow out the day of the caucus? You've gotten that far, might as well at least roll the dice. Quitting only makes sense after the results, assuming bad ones (c.f. Huckabee).

The key element in posting snipped material is to include the MONEY QUOTE! If you make a claim, then post a sourced clip, back up the claim in the clip. Not simply claims by others making the same claim.

Many of us can’t access links through our work connections, especially from “extremist” sites....

Don’t pretend that Cruz is an outsider when his campaign is filled with insiders. You can’t get much more inside than the Chertoff Group. Maybe The Carlyle Group. Oh wait, they did a deal together.

I hope Trump wouldn’t do that to the country, but given he just went algore on us — just because he came in second in Iowa — I’m not so sure anymore.

OK, I read the entire article and it is filled with very loose connections. One must make a lot of assumptions in order to connect their dots.

I’ll be even more specific. Yes, Cruz does want to be able to allow students to have school choice and to have the associated federal funding follow the student. Now, the article you posted makes the claim that Cruz is using this as a tool to control Private schools and home schoolers.

That is an awfully loose connection to draw, but let’s play the game and assume that Cruz has a diabolicil plan to get rid of private schools and homeschooling. OK, now what forces those schools or parents to actually ACCEPT those funds? For example, Hillsdale college (and others) do that at the collegiate level today.

In addition, the same article fails to mention that federal funding of schools is a small percentage of the educational funds for each student. Cruz is not advocating the portability of state funds, his proposal, as discussed in the article, is limited to Federal funds.

That site, and article, reminds me of Alex Jones dot connecting....

You’re full of BS projection.

I have no ‘bitter rage’. But you would like to attach that to my objective perspective.

I don’t see what Trump is doing as whining.I see it as sticking up for yourself, which is a novel concept with the RepugsE, who always go silently into the night whithout a whimper.

But that’s just me.

“At this point, I’d vote for the libertarian.”

Didn’t Rand drop out this a.m.?

Why throw your valuable vote away because your feelings are hurt? Think about it. Do we really want to listen to Hillary screeching at us for 4 years.

I’m sticking with Cruz.
