Accusing Senator Ted Cruz of voter fraud, Donald Trump today argued that Mr. Cruz "stole" the election in Iowa.
"That is why all of the polls were so wrong, and why he got far more votes than anticipated," Mr. Trump said on Twitter, suggesting no one predicted that Mr. Cruz would win:
Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016
Mr. Trump then went further, saying Mr. Cruz committed fraud, suggesting that Cruz's campaign suggesting that Ben Carson would drop out amounted to fraud, as did his campaign's mailers about "voting violations:"
Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016
The Voter Violation certificate gave poor marks to the unsuspecting voter(grade of F) and told them to clear it up by voting for Cruz. Fraud— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016
I see, so now using CNN stories is somehow fraud! OK, gotcha.
Yes I agree we should never have any one with experience but always use rank armatures in our decision making on foreign policy etc.. Good point thank you.
He still has the raw stuff to inspire people to make America great again. Let’s pray he gets his groove back. I think he will.
he will continue to feign offense all the while relishing the loss in Iowa.
If he’d won in Iowa he’d have to put off debuting as the NEW Party Presidential candidate until somewhat later in the “season”.
Logistically this will assure he can maintain his fan base.
Still deflecting.
Btw, they believe in expanding NSA. That is who is advising him.
All in all, Cruz takes 8, Trump 7 and Rubio 6 delegates respectively. Thatâs pretty much a draw in the larger election.
Thanks for posting this. The media will not show how close all three are and that there’s only a one vote difference between Cruz & Trump.
I am no longer wasting my precious time responding to Trump haters!!!!!
“...Ted Cruz ADMITS his staff spread âshamelessâ whisper campaign that Ben Carson was quitting presidential contest just before Iowa caucus voting began - but blames CNN for starting the rumor...”
Cruz owned up to the error and admitted they should have followed up with a correction. And CNN *DID* start the rumor. Well, if you want to split hairs, Carson’s own campaign started the rumor which CNN ran with. After that, RUBIO and Cruz both repeated it.
Has Rubio apologized yet? Cruz has - directly to Carson and Carson (last I heard) accepted his apology. Now I don’t expect you will agree simply because if there is one thing I’ve learned in this campaign season, it is that there is nothing that infuriates a Trump supporter more than stubborn facts they can’t refute.
I never said YOU were dishonest. I said his campaign operatives, meaning people on the ground and in offices who operate and plan the day-to-day events.
It is becoming clear they are unethical. That is likely due to some bad apples in positions of authority. But Cruz is responsible for those people.
Cruz apologized to Carson for the tactic that was used. Carson responded “too little. too late”.
Still prefer Cruz/West
>Trump is right. Iâm done with cruz.<
So who would you vote for if it is Hillary or Biden vs. Cruz?
“Cruzers spread a bunch of bullcrap around about Trump.”
Like what? CNN stories?
I think you are right. He can’t run as third party but can run as an independent—is that correct? Just like Bloomberg is planning. We may be looking at a Billionaire vs. Billionaire vs. Democrat(socialist) vs. Republican election.
Re:”I’m done with cruz.â”
You never were with Cruz.
Nice try.
.
Poor Trump!
He is now abundantly aware that his shot at winning is history.
As he falls out of sight, he is going to make lots of noise.
Only fools will listen.
Not to mention being Chucky's chimp and flooding us with illegals..."
Whaaaaa? I presume you meant "Rubio," not "Cruz" above?
Hank
It's early...but I'm calling off the contest and proclaiming this the FR Posting Of The Month!
Hank
Thats right, you can't.
.
Trump is not a part of the ‘party.’
He is still a liberal Democrat at heart, as proven by his false attacks aimed at the party’s only chance.
Good thing he collapsed early; there is no excuse for anyone chasing the Trump nightmare any further. This is the Trumpet wake-up call.
