Ted Cruz is the ONLY candidate capable of pushing back--not just shacking things up!--the tsunami of socialism that currently threatens our nation. If he can't do it, nobody can in the current field of candidates. And we may not get another next time.

Think about it.

Ted Cruz 2016!

Wait and see if Ted gets the nomination and carries the state before concluding that anti-ethanol wins elections in Iowa.

As things stand now, it's more likely that Cruz won because he appealed to the Evangelicals who'd voted for Bush, Huckabee, and Santorum in previous elections and managed to get them to come to the polls in large numbers.

Cruz is a career politician. He didn’t understand the bill and voted for TPA, forgot to disclose two major low interest loans from big banks, told voters in an active caucus that Carson dropped out.

Whatever it takes, right?

Cruz went from Iowa event to Iowa event telling how he’d make sure his Administration paved the way for E25 and E30 products to get to market.

He wasn’t scaring them on the ethanol subject at all, he was just cleverly changing his focus to, in a way, offer more.

Another reason Trump did poorly:

Business Insider analysis of Trump’s Iowa failure indicates voters who were real conservatives, with higher critical thinking skills and education stayed away Trump.

Conservative voters were likely influenced by disturbing vital facts about candidate Trump, in that he is a:
Life long New Yawk liberal who has serious issues of poor judgement and being untrustworthy,ie:
multiple bankruptcies,
engaged in unconstitutional eminent domain lawsuits against the little guy,
created a fraudulent get rich “Trump University”,
and relies heavily on Huge loans from Too-Big-Too-Fail banks for his ego edifices.

Trumpsters share a meal fit for their “unappreciated” strong dad / weak detail attention-whore king -
crow ;n)

snip
Here’s how Trump’s loss played out, according to NBC’s exit polls.

As predicted, Trump performed best among voters with a high-school education or lower. But those voters represented only 16% of the electorate on Monday. Voters who had any education beyond high school — 84% of the electorate — mostly broke for Rubio and Cruz over Trump.

The mogul performed best among self-identified moderate Republican voters, a vastly smaller share of caucusgoers than those who referred to themselves as conservative.

Of the 40% of voters who considered themselves very conservative, Cruz captured 44% of the vote, compared with Trump’s 21%. Rubio won among the 45% of voters who considered themselves somewhat conservative, netting 29% of that portion of the vote to Trump’s 24%.

And despite last-minute endorsements and appearances with major evangelical figures like Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University, Trump also trailed among religious voters, who made up 62% of the GOP electorate on Monday. Cruz ran away with this group, beating Trump by 12 points.

I thought Cruz won because he acted more religious. 62% of the voters were supposedly evangelical/born-agains. Cruz really emphasized his faith.

Good try, but nope. He is another Huck and Rick show. He got most of the evangelicals. Next.

Reality check: Ted Cruz now has 8 delegates, Trump and Rubio each have 7. Tune in again next week.
