And meth-heads. Surprising the places they pop up.
I pack because of two-legged predators.
I regularly do a father-daughter camp out sponsored by our shul. Not real camping — tents with easy access to electricity at state campsites. Probably a group of 20-30 dads and 100 daughters.
At least once a year, a group of mouth breathers or arabs come up and try to harass us.
During the Walleye fishing season at Milford, I always carry when up along the dam. Too many crazies in the area.
Found out carrying a firearm on Corps of Engineers property, meaning my local lakes, is prohibited and is a federal offense regardless of state laws!
Go figure!
Yep thinks haven’t changed since I lived in a remote place in the PNW in the late 70s & 80s - crooks love the woods - no law, and lots of native food.
When I am outside of the house I always have my .45 on me. Any day is a bad day to mess with the Megan!
I've always read that a S&W .22 revolver was the perfect 'Tackle Box Gun'. I'd love to have one, but I'd still carry a Glock.
“...while hunting or fishing without a permit.”
What was that for, the Game Warden? :)
The upper Skagit is a beautiful river.
“Need a good retention strap.”
Looks like it might be a retention holster. I’ve got one, it has a death grip on the front of trigger guard. You can hold it upside down and shake it and the gun won’t fall out. But when you want to get it out, you have to give it a good solid jerk in exactly the right direction.
I expected to hear that he came face to face with a bear!
“Zek.”
Jeez. I know what you mean.
Not a bad tool tool should you have an altercation with a bear, as well....
WE never go in the woods without a weapon or two. The AT here in GA is just lousy with tweakers. You never know when one will appear out of nowhere.
I pack here in south Louisiana because, well, alligators. (and anyone messin’ with my traps).
I pretty much carry everywhere nowadays. Annoys my wife when I ccw in church though. Actually that’s one of the places I feel I need to carry most unfortunately........considering some recent events.
I am always amazed that Kaleefornia permits open and concealed carry while fishing( with a lot of qualifications, so read them first)!
Packing while fishing? Hell, I don’t walk out of my front door without being armed and I live in the country.
Two fishermen in camp ............
