Anecdotal evidence surrounding Chicago City Council’s Dec. 2, 2014, vote to hike the minimum wage by 58 percent over four and a half years suggests this trend will continue.
The owner of the iconic Original Rainbow Cone ice cream shop in Beverley said she would be forced to cut the number of students her business employs over the summer by half. A Panera Bread location cited the hike when it decided to close, as did Home Run Inn pizza when it killed plans to open a new location in Portage Park.

Ultimately, man makes his own destiny. You can blame Dunderhead. You can put your hopes in Dunderhead. But no one can live your life for you. My primary criticism of ‘black leaders’, is that they spend so much time blaming everybody, and everything, but they don’t go back to the community, grab the young man by his lapels, and tell him to straighten up and fly right. So, you get what you get.
And isn't this where he was going to church with Rev. Wright? And poor Moosebutt will have to go back to this poor city and live?
They could have done so much for the Black Community and all they did was walk all over the top of every single one of them...no wonder America is in the shape it's in, another year of the ‘community campaigner’ and America would really look like the ghetto of Chicago...
Shall we lay down some general facts:
1. Blacks cause more crime. It causes others to fear them.
2. Blacks bring down property values. It causes others to avoid them.
3. Blacks are less educated. It causes others to disrespect them.
When you are feared, avoided, and disrespected, you are generally a loser. Blacks are the loser class in America. No other sub-population comes close, except (perhaps a big stretch) for poor Appalachian white and reservation natives.
Hispanics are similar, but there is one thing going for them — they have great work ethic, especially the uneducated illegals. All the mcmansions (read: housing industry) are built by illegal hispanic laborers hired by their white contractor masters. There is no incentive for anyone with power/money/influence to curb this source of cheap labor.
