Conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer said Friday on the Fox News Channel that he believes it is now a three person race for the Republican 2016 nomination, with Donald Trump most likely to win.
Speaking on "Special Report," the syndicated columnist used $100 in "casino chips" to illustrate his point.
Krauthammer placed a $40 bet on the chances that Trump would secure the nomination, followed by a $30 bet on Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio came in third with $20 and Krauthammer reserved $10 for "wine, women and song."(continued)

I haven’t watched him lately so haven’t noticed breathing problems. I haven’t been able to stand his views lately, but I wish no ill will on the man.

Winter time. He might be suffering from a slight cold which would be harder on him than on either of us ... we so pray.

Still behind the curve. It’s a one person race.

I still don't get the appeal of Rubio, but I've seen people on the forum who say they would vote for him. I wouldn't vote for him in a primary.
But I'd certainly vote for him if he is the R nominee in the general election... provided he wins the nomination in a fair process that does not subvert the will of the voters.
The only Republican that I would refuse to vote for is Bush.

The 10 dollars he set aside for bush was spent on wine women and song rather than piss it away,

I seriously was not meaning to mess with the formatting here, just answering deadrock's question. OTH, the thread was just a little fun on a Friday night and I don't know why it was deleted.

If the Republicans hadn’t lied to and deceived the American people, it could have been a far different situation. But they committed suicide, and no one is shedding any tears.

You’re probably right. I started noticing it about 2 weeks ago. Wife picked up on it yesterday, I think. She’s not a news hound and seldom watches, so she’d not seen Krauthammer in some time, and she saw it and commented on it right away.

I think the nation should vote to have the election moved up to say May 17th and get rid of the current administration ASAP!

I still donât get the appeal of Rubio, but Iâve seen people on the forum who say they would vote for him.
He made a calculated effort to go for the neocon/warmonger/ McCain/Adelson wing. But, perhaps they no longer have the power they did a decade ago. Or perhaps, he just comes across as a whiny little chickenhawk.
He's still a factor. Those guys have all the $$$ & FNC.

Ah, so now will see Freepers that formerly held Krauthammer in disdain decide that he is a valid voice after all?
