Just having a little fun at Cruz's expense but his talk about New York values is a little stupid.
New York - be it the city or the state or the tri-state area (NJ, CT and sometimes PA) is pretty conservative in a lot of things. For example, there is less out of wedlock births and less crime than many cities in the so called south these days and if you want to judge by divorce rates, NY and NJ rank at last while 'traditional values' states rank the highest.
Texas is one of the leading divorce rates states.

I believe he has admitted to all that he was in 1999. Now in 2016, he believes differently.

Because the narrative of Cruz slapping the “values” (note this is a vague word that was not clearly qualified) of a “New York” and then having the people there showcase their collective response to 9-11 as what they consider their values as being was an effective kill-shot that can and will tar him in places that would have voted for him.
People on FR desperately looking for negative stuff to back up Cruz (or at least think they are), is only reinforcing a flub after the battle is already lost, and is only helping make NYC into the “victim” of an unprovoked swipe.

You've already been told Cruz was talking specifically about NYC. So you might as well not sit there and preach about God while you're persisting in a lie.

So you want a Constitutional conservative to "beg forgiveness" from liberals?

Nothing gets to the American people unless it goes through a Liberal New York Democrat Union member filter. If they don't approve it, it doesn't get heard.
This Liberal monopoly of access to the public is the primary cause of what is wrong in this nation.
