Just grab one of these devices and line it up between the two points on the map that you wish to travel between.

In Operations Research this is known as the Traveling Salesman problem: find the shortest route that connects a list of cities. Check it out on Wikipedia, which has an excellent short article on it. Several solutions are known, but it is one of the most difficult problems in Operations Research.
