often come away from the conservative/Christian conferences Iâve attended around the country with the feeling that weâre trying to drive the car by hitting the gas and the brakes at the exact same time.
Although I have met many wonderful people at those events, and received no shortage of inspiration from the speeches I have heard, there is also a shadow that looms over everything. This shadow taunts us with visions of an army, whose soldiers run away or whose weapons jam right at the very moment in the fight when resolve and execution matter most.

And again, Trumps record does not support his rhetoric, he’s been far on the left supporting Tarp, Obama’s stimulus, auto bailouts...and many other issues that should give conservatives real pause. It sounds good Jim, and throwing red meat to conservatives is pretty easty, however I cannot just ignore Trumps evolving and past statements giving glowing praise of HIllary and Obama. He may be a rich, successful businessman but that doesn’t mean much to me if he’s going to flip on a dime because he his core is only ruled by the almighty dollar. I’m starting to really see what strategy Trump is using here, its really just Obama’s...aimed at low info Republicans (not including you) who are either being dazzled by an iconic salesman, or just too lazy anymore to do simple background checks.
I think Trump voters are both conservatives and populists. The neat trick will be for Cruz to convince the conservatives to come home and leave the populism to wither of its own accord. Not easy.
And, let’s do take populism if necessary to stick it to the gope/uniparty.
Well, yeah, the events leading up to tarp and stimulus were not our nation’s finest moments. Had lots of financial type people in a panic. But again, most of the problem was due to big government. Trump wants to cut it.
And only the last 12 minutes of the two hour show were about
his presidential run.
Bzactly. Trump and Cruz are both worthy finalists. Let good men argue honorably, and may the best man win.
Well, since 2010, 2014...i’ve learned one thing...not to trust what most Republicans are promising...especially ones that evolve on issues so quickly. Which is why records matter to me.
Ok, me too. Cruz is my man, but if Trump gets it, I’m all in Trump.
Go, Trump, GO!!
Go, Cruz, GO!!
Either way, we win, they lose.
Since Trump isn’t a politician/congressman/senator/governor/councilman, he doesn’t have a “record” or voting record and I find that refreshing. He hasn’t made his career/success on the taxpayers backs.
I'm with ya buddy...lets make a stand!!!...
if it ain't TRUMP...We're voting for Hillery...(or do you want Sanders??..either way...I'm with ya all the way though)
Start a ping list of all of us...I'm insulted and hurt really bad too!!!
(freep mail me when u get the list going...Ill send you money for doing the hard work for us!) your BBF..the Cubed Dude
Trump needs Cruz, Cruz needs Trump...Together they win and if they are convinced by outsiders to attack each other...we all lose.
Pay attention to those trying to stir this up!
I just can’t.
Are you a reporter? I mean the way you twist words and make stuff up, sounds like maybe you work for NYT or CNN.
His “record?” What record would that be? He’s never been a “government service worker” aka politician/elected official.
See, I and see it much differently. He’s a successful businessman, a multimillionaire, money and success made from hard work (not political largesse).
Trump=Obama? There’s a huge disconnect there.
Obama-success on other people’s backs and dime, worst president ever and how the hell did he even become POTUS, anti American in every way and Trump- successful businessman, multimillionaire, outspoken, blowhard, anti pc, not phased by the Media (who supports any and every democrat) and patriotic.
Yeah, I see they’re the same/similar.
I wish I wasn’t on my Droid to post...I’d like to go into more detail...
The 64 thousand dollar question:
Who can beat Clinton, not whether the revolution will be televised by Trump or Cruz...
A Trump / Cruz ticket seems to have a much better chance than a Cruz / Trump or a Rubio ticket...to beat Clinton...
Trump will pull in a number of non republicans...that simply will not vote for Clinton...
Cruz unless something radically changes will not get the crossover votes he needs to win...
Personally, I’d prefer a Cruz / Trump ticket since the real fix to America is in the constitution, not deal making...
If we get a Clinton, we are toast and there is no return..
It may already be too late any way...
I will support Trump or Cruz but favor Trump because he is more likely to get it done as President than Cruz. Your anti-Trump stuff is not worth commenting on.
-—How much better would Ted Cruz be as a President if he had four years being the apprentice to Donald Trump ? -—
Nobody knows the answer to that question...
How much better will Trump as POTUS be if Cruz spent four years explaining the Constitution to Trump ?
<<<.....Trump doesnât have a ârecordâ or voting record and I find that refreshing”.....>>>>>
I find that very risky since he’s been voting and called himself a supporter of Demorats up until recently.
âWhat Washington wants is conservatives divided. Thatâs how the moderate establishment candidate runs up the middle with 23 percent of the vote, steals the nomination and then loses the general because millions of conservatives stay home.â...Ted Cruz
