The world consoles, commiserates with France in it's time of sorrow and tragedy, demonstrating its support, at least symbolically with Gallic-themed tokens of condolences in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks.
Here is just one example, one of myriad items to show the terrorists that they can kill the French but can they create such pretty commemorative items on such short notice?
I don't recall seeing a single item like this in the aftermath of 9/11.
And no, I was not a cheese-eating, smelly Froggie yesterday unlike others who seem to have been a Frenchman, even if having to hold their nose, for a day.
I seem to remember hearing about that. I wonder what wound up happening to the cows?
Me, too.
Not sure where you are coming from, but in the wake of 9/11 I recall pretty much the entire world rallying to our support. It didn’t last. Such things never do. But foreign support and sympathy was overwhelming for about a year.
They were delicious.....
Baloney.
Baloney. There were many. Friends have posted a picture of one which was a huge American flag which the French used way back then.
Bull s**t
My daughter was going to school in London on 9/11. She said the British were very respectful of the US at that time.
Complete and utter BS......Liar. The World came tougher with America after 9/11........they left quickly after the Iraq disaster.
Are you serious or brain damaged?
OH B.S.!!!
Where were you, under a rock?
We had a World out pour for us on 9/11.....must have been having a diaper change...
Are you outraged?
Much ado about nothing. It was the thought. Many friends have posted that on my page. At least they did not burn it like some people do here.
She’s absolutely correct actually.
That's your take and you're entitled to it. For me, I'll just keep thinking of the French as being the dumbass liberal pukes they are for allowing muslims to infest their country to the tune of 8% of the population, giving their country the second largest muslim population in Europe. Oh, and they stink -- a lot.
Sung to the same tune as Onward Christian Soldiers?
They were trying to do something nice. Protocol got broken. Get over it.
