Even just four years of Trump works.
Without Trump, Jethro would be the nominee already.
That strategy could backfire: they could look to Cruz to save them from Trump.
I would say this is some of the silliest analysis I’ve seen recently.
You act like Trump is some Godking with the super power to maneuver all the other candidates into the position he wants. Typical of Trumpsters, they seem to think “the Donald” is all knowing and all seeing.
Trump is just attacking the candidates he views as a threat to him. If/when Cruz gets closer to Trump in the polls he will attack him just like he does all the others (while at the same time claiming he is just counter punching).
Politically, Trump is pretty predictable at this point. Also, he is highly unlikely to be the nominee just FYI.
God willing they will both lead us to victory.
I totally concur with the strategy of Trump getting rid of everybody but Cruz. Cruz will never run better than a distant second to him and then Trump can wrap up the nomination and Take Ted along for the ride to DC either as VP or AG. Either one fine by me.
Cruz is more acceptable to the Establishment than Trump is.

Sa far pretty much. :-)
I predict the gopE will “select” someone rather than allow Trump or Cruz to get the nomination. They’ll get a liberal judge to approve their illegal actions. Think Mississippi.
They absolutely would...Cruz doesn't have much to offer those with a Democrat idealogy so he will be a sure defeat against Hillary...
The GOPe does not want Trump under any conditions...They hate Cruz and Hillary is far more like them than Cruz or Trump...
Longbow, you don’t understand. This is all part of Trump’s brilliant, omniscient plan.
Cruz is out there in the grassroots building his campaign for Trump! It’s all a sham, see. He was never in it to win...he’s just the Donald’s lapdog, as is the whole world.
Sa far pretty much. :-)"
LOL, wow
But it's not a cult of personality...not at all.

Trump will not commit to a second term. He’s driven to save this country, not to be a politician for the remainder of his life. Trump will rip the GOPe wide open. Trump has has long, strong, and deep relationships with a variety of people all over the world who will step up to the plate to assure Trump wins his battles. Furthermore, he’s a street fighter and won’t take any crap from the weasels in DC, North Korea, China, or Russia. Trump can amass a research (search and destroy) team that would put Rush to shame. He does more than just sit around drinking coffee and counting money.
...and they prefer Hillary far and away more than either.
If the polls do foretell the turnout, Trump may very well be the nominee. He has held his spot through a lot of attacks. He seems to be able to get out of media problems. And he seems to understand how to energize and re-energize the polls.
The question is whether or not he can keep it up without a ground campaign. He, Carson and Fiorina seem to think that media, social and traditional are all it takes to win an election. Maybe this is true. But we have never seen it before.
Trumps brand of popular-ism has not been seen in national elections. But neither has the NBC/Fox cabal that is trying so hard to steer public opinion.
And as V. P. to President Trump...could be some outsider we don't know or it could be someone from the Senate that will scare the heck out of both parties....
But WE are not ‘crystal ball’ readers are we...as long as Hillary or Jeb ‘cry baby’ Bush doesn't get anywhere near the Oval Office, America will be fine....
No its the cult of strategy. Trump is a very good strategist. He is taking out the other candidates in a certain order. Right now Trump’s helping smother Carson in his crib and then he’s going to finish off Rubio. After that it’s a likely Trump-Cruz lopsided race to the nomination.
Donald Trump didn’t make $9 billion by being a poor chess player.
