I would say this is some of the silliest analysis I’ve seen recently.
You act like Trump is some Godking with the super power to maneuver all the other candidates into the position he wants. Typical of Trumpsters, they seem to think “the Donald” is all knowing and all seeing.
Trump is just attacking the candidates he views as a threat to him. If/when Cruz gets closer to Trump in the polls he will attack him just like he does all the others (while at the same time claiming he is just counter punching).
Politically, Trump is pretty predictable at this point. Also, he is highly unlikely to be the nominee just FYI.
“You act like Trump is some Godking with the super power to maneuver all the other candidates into the position he wants”
Sa far pretty much. :-)
Longbow, you don’t understand. This is all part of Trump’s brilliant, omniscient plan.
Cruz is out there in the grassroots building his campaign for Trump! It’s all a sham, see. He was never in it to win...he’s just the Donald’s lapdog, as is the whole world.
If the polls do foretell the turnout, Trump may very well be the nominee. He has held his spot through a lot of attacks. He seems to be able to get out of media problems. And he seems to understand how to energize and re-energize the polls.
The question is whether or not he can keep it up without a ground campaign. He, Carson and Fiorina seem to think that media, social and traditional are all it takes to win an election. Maybe this is true. But we have never seen it before.
Trumps brand of popular-ism has not been seen in national elections. But neither has the NBC/Fox cabal that is trying so hard to steer public opinion.
You seem awful sure of that so I guess we will see. I see it differently.
