Yesterday Trump called Politico dishonest. Today he is spreading their Ben Carson lie.

RedState's own Leon Wolf did a great job exposing the Politico story about Ben Carson and West Point as a lie. Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel is also churning out great information on Twitter regarding the story.

I want to focus on what Donald Trump is doing with the story, however.

Yesterday, November 5, Donald Trump had this to say about Politico:

Look, Politico is so dishonest in so many different things. This Politico website or whatever the hell they call it, I mean, they write about me. We don't deal with them anymore because the level of dishonesty is incredible.

Today, November 6, Donald Trump is spreading the false Politico story about Ben Carson. Below is one of the several Trump Tweets citing the Politico piece.

What an incredible turnaround. It appears Trump is willing to do whatever it takes to destroy Carson, who is poised to disrupt his position as GOP frontrunner.

Yesterday, Trump seized on the silly CNN investigation of Carson's childhood. According to Trump, Carson's childhood might be a "total fabrication.?

Ironically, much of Trump's support is due to the perception that he tells the truth and shuns the mainstream media. It is now clear that he will abandon that notion when it suits him politically.

Here is one such article among many if you do a search past the carson attack stories and back into the archeology discussions.

Imhotep is NOT the Joseph of the Bible. Joseph's Egyptian name was Zaphnathpaaneah (Gen 41:45).

Furthermore, the step pyramid design is identical to that of the Babylonians, and all references to Imhotep in ancient Egypt have no relation whatsoever to Israel, but rather to pagan worship and architecture. Why would Joseph have anything whatsoever to do with such designs, and ones which were perfectly needless for keeping grain, of which he only had seven years to gather and store in vast amounts?

Lastly, the scripture does not mention pyramids of any sort, and simply declares that Joseph held them in the closest cities from whence they were gathered:

Gen 41:48 And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

Bush did enough...regarding the immediate problems at the time but it was not enough to just do that.

What he did was also largely through his control of Ice, and after we got the House, they passed the border control act, (can’t recall the name) and them the dems would not fund it.

So the fence never got built, but you do recall that the guard was put on the border for a time...they were supposed to take the pressure off the border patrol to enable the building of the fences, but all that blew up, caused by the dems..

But none of that came easy...

It was a constant struggle. one which the republican eventually gave up, as we moved into the election, and the rest is history.

Those issues still remain and are in fact worse now then before. Now we have republicans voting with democrats. About 40 of them or so, mostly regarding border issues and trade.

I don’t see trump getting much done if he is nominated..

but I don’t anyone getting much done..

CW has earned the badge of dishonor by her actions here. Hit piece after hit piece. She couldn’t stand that Walker sank, and so she was determined to unleash her wrath. We’ve seen this same dog and pony show before from others when their designated weak candidate or RINO failed to place.

CW has a knack for slamming the Conservative nominees. She is standing with the loser leftist RINO establishment, the leftist media, the hateful leftist pop culture and the leftist Democrats (whom are in bed with the prior three).

She’s been asked if she’ll vote for Trump when he is the nominee and refused to answer. That, too, speaks volumes.

When you attack someone who has not even engaged you on the thread, over support for your particular candidate, it’s not rational because it’s emotional. It’s payback.

Your denial is dully noted. And I do have a grip...

As a huge Trump supporter (check my posting history if you don’t believe me), what Trump did yesterday was simply pathetic and disappointing. Trump essentially kicked Carson while he was down.

Carson has too many problems. The Mannatech thing is clearly a lie. He denies having any relationship with them, and Breitbart goes and publishes a huge pump piece explaining that since Carson was paid through a middle man, technically he told the truth! Carson also sounds shady as hell with all these statements about trying to stab people or hit his mother with a hammer. It's just bizarre that Carson will not produce anyone to verify these stories. He keeps saying that he doesn't want to put a "spotlight" on anyone, then says it's a family member anyway, then yells conspiracy. Then the fact he keeps talking about it, trying to prove that he hit his mother with a hammer! It's just... bizarre.

Trump should have held back for a while on the Twitter attack to be sure who, in fact, was lying.

Yep, there is no take back button on the nuclear football either.

But of course everyone else is STUPID and POOR and never built anything.

“What an incredible turnaround. It appears Trump is willing to do whatever it takes to destroy Carson, who is poised to disrupt his position as GOP frontrunner.”

Trum’s tendency to attack at the personal level is what will eventually be his undoing. People will tire of that crap in time.

Mark Levin said he can’t condone a candidate trashing Carson.

While Carson isn’t my guy, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to slam the media for such behavior then turn around and use it.

IMO she’s a paid social media pimp—paid by the Perry campaign in ‘12, Walker earlier this year, and now some iteration of the GOPe.

I’ll reiterate: Dubya did nothing. I and my family and my neighborhood are a victim of his do-nothing policies. There are tens of millions of illegals here sucking our massively indebted government even more dry, overwhelming our scarce resources and committing heinous crimes all because he didn’t want to look “racist” or stand up to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that wants illegal slave labor, nevermind to Mexico itself (whose fake Conservative PAN party’s agenda was to dump the entirety of the criminal underclass on America. Imagine how quickly you’d “clean up” Detroit if you sent 90% of its residents across the river to Windsor, Ontario - and how quickly Windsor would turn into a third-world, crime-ridden hellhole).

Zero has merely continued said policies. These same open-borders traitors infest the GOP like a cancer, bitterly clinging to their delusional view that they’ll get 100% support from illegals or amnestied ones at the ballot box.

Yeah, I know the argument....just trying to show you that there is another side to it and it’s fairly recent. Some expose stuff done by investigative archeology journalists have turned up some interesting stuff, so I keep a open mind. They also explained the Biblical matters you mentioned. I can’t remember all of it so it’s best I don’t try to do that now.

But it’s sufficient to say that I found it fascinating. Especially the timeline. They showed proof of it being some 1200 years off.

If I come across that Netflix show, I mentioned, I will make a note of the title. It’s a few hours of interesting investigative work.

And anyone who called interest at a job fair an offer of employment would be fooling himself, at the very least.

With that track record, it’s no wonder she is likely an open borders fetishist (La Raza Rick being an egregious champion of that). Trump is going to shut that down, and we see the terror in their eyes.

All I can do is cite the stats from the Border patrol on arrests, detentions and deportations..

I am aware that the border states are a mess, but you can’t lay all that on W.

It goes back before Reagan.

Yes, I agree that we are being invaded.

You won’t get any argument from me on that.

When I was in high school, I was INFOEMALLY told by Naval Academy representatives that I could have an appointment if I wanted one. That would approximately be an informal offer of a full scholarship, as that is part of the package. I never applied. I never received an appointment. Nonetheless, an informal offer was made.
