An Idaho militia group protested the arrival of Syrian refugees by issuing dark warnings based on anti-Muslim conspiracy theories.
The III% Idaho group rallied Monday outside the statehouse in Boise, where about 100 anti-government activists, many wearing flak jackets and other armor, waved American flags and banners promoting their pro-gun militia group, reported Hatewatch.
"This isn't some made-up crap we're spewing out here, like they're leading you to believe across the way," shouted Brandon Curtiss, president of the right-wing group.
Actually, "made-up crap" describes a lot of what the III% Idaho group is spewing.
The group has been protesting the College of Southern Idaho's refugee resettlement program for several weeks, warning that Islamic State radicals were sending "sleeper" terrorists to western nations among refugees from war-torn Syria.
About 300 refugees are expected to be screened and then resettled in communities throughout the state.
Federal authorities admit that gaps do exist in screening Syrian refugees, but they said these migrants will still undergo extensive background checks - although the results are confidential, which makes it difficult to assure alarmists.
"There are many terrorist organizations out there who have stated numerous times that they will manipulate the refugee crisis to spread radical Islam," said Chris McIntire, a spokesman for the III% group.
"We are seeing this in Europe," McIntire said. "We have seen it for the past several months, where refugees are rioting in the streets, they are waving Islamic flags, they are praying to Allah, they are demanding Sharia law, which includes the second-class treatment of women."
Anti-Muslim extremists - including Brigitte Gabriel of ACT for America, Pam Geller and Mark Levin - have been promoting those conspiracy theories in right-wing circles and then out onto social media.
The III% movement was co-founded by pro-gun, anti-government activist Mike Vanderboegh, who promotes the idea that the Second Amendment allows unsatisfactory election results to be overturned by armed revolt.
The group's name refers to the apocryphal belief that only 3 percent of colonists participated in the American Revolution, and group members take pains to describe themselves as a mainstream conservative group â although their rhetoric frequently overlaps with other far-right "patriot" groups and even white supremacist groups.
The far-right connection is missed by some media outlets, including an Idaho TV station that reported the III% percent movement "stands for conservative protections of the constitution and community safety."
Sounds pretty tame - but the groupâs leaders promote a nationalistic agenda that presents Americans as victims of an ethnic minority protected by liberal elites.
"We want to take care of Idahoans first, and we are tired of them taking the dwindling resources we already have for the state of Idaho, and funneling that over to refugee programs to help these guys coming in here, and ignoring our Idaho citizens â our homeless, our veterans, our students that need help here first," Curtiss said. "We're not against refugees, what we're saying is, we need a better process."
"They're draining our dwindling resources that's already in place and not looking out for Idahoans first, or U.S. citizens for that matter," he added.
Where can I sign up?
Most of them pay for forged documents, and even if they had valid documents, unless a person has already committed terrorism known to western authorities, I doubt if are vetted at all.
yes, whatever will they do to get our attention away from the complete societal, political, financial, demolition of Europe...?
Looks like here: Contact 3% of Idaho
Thanks, I don’t live there, but I could fix that.

A few weeks back I was perusing the job market on line and came across a position titled “Ebola Coordinator” wanted in Idaho. I was intrigued and read the job ad and qualifications for the job. It was the real deal.
Come to find out, Boise’s mayor has given Obama the go-ahead to send some 70,000 Muslim migrants to Boise and other spots in Idaho. Some of these Muslims are from.....guess where?...Africa where there was the Ebola outbreak and where people are still being treated. These in addition to the Syrian Muslims.
I live in a state that borders Idaho and I will tell you right now that we do not want those people here in the Redoubt. We have sent enough money and people to Africa to fight Ebola and we have sent billions to the Syrian refugee camps. Make them clean up their messes in their own countries. We are struggling enough here.
Call you Representatives and Senators NOW.
The CDC and NIH found a few weeks ago that the Ebola virus remains alive and active and can be passed on for even a year or more. They do not know who is healthy and who is not.
After hearing about that Muslim woman, single mom, in Minnesota who has 13 children that we are paying benefits to BIG TIME and one of the children left to fight with ISIS, I do not feel very charitable about supporting more of them over here. I wonder where all that money she is collecting is really going.
The III% is the group proposing to build a citadel (walled community) in Benewah Co., Idaho.

This first sentence just irritated me!
WHen I see stuff like this the first thing that comes to mind nowadays is that this reporter like most of them is all in favor of setting up the situation for chaos. Why? Because blood and guts as well as terror and dysfunction sell newspapers and advertising.
And when you get down to the bottom line, for these people it’s all about the money and power that goes hand in hand with it.
Naturally, nothing from Congress.

These people are patriots!
Who wrote that pos article? Its incredbily biased.
I’d love to know how many Christians are being brought into the US. Those are the ones really in danger.
From what I have read the Saudis, Oman and UAE don’t want them either. If their neighbors don’t want them why the hell are we taking them in?

wrong group FRiend.
I'm in Montana. It is only a matter of time until the liberals that infect us, transplants from blue states, bring those parasites (advanced invading forces) here. For our own good doncha know.
Learning from history, this invasion of the West is a repeat of other invasions in the ME.
In the late 60s, Israel kicked out a lot of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. Most of them crossed the Allenby Bridge into Jordan. The Jordanians took care of them as best they could in refugee camps.
The cowardly Arafat and the Palestinian leadership at the time decided that
Since they couldn’t fight and defeat Israel, a stubborn fact till today, they might as well take over, occupy and RULE a neighboring country!
Jordan was paid handsomely for their kindness to their refugee brethren, /s. The armed refugees tried to take Amman and despise of the Jordanian government and King Hussain’s monarchy.
The Jordanian Bedouin army was/is one of the best well-trained Arab armies and fiercely loyal to the Monarchy. Challenging that small army was a grand mistake. The war started in September 1970 and ended in July 1971 with the total defeat of the terrorists and their fleeing to Lebanon.
This was the birth of the The Black September Organization, one of the most pre-El Qaeda notorious terrorist organizations who proceeded to “wash, rinse and repeat” in Lebanon, which led to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 and the rest is history.
As Palestinians consider that September black, many Arab regimes considered “white” because Egypt’s longtime communist dictator, Nasser, died on the 28 th of that September, luckily for King Hussain who saved his country. Unlike our King Hussain who’s working very hard to destroy our country.
There’re many interesting URLs included in the one below.

Presently, the parameters didn’t change, they only expanded. It employs the same tactics to invade with an unarmed refugees pouring into the “welcoming” West and correctly shunned by the old Eastern Block and China.
They are choosing rich, well-developed countries that can house them, feed them and pay them the most; can you say Germany and Sweden?
They want a Caliphate not one “neighboring” country. They’re emphasizing religion and sharia’a law on the unarmed Christian populations, something they couldn’t do to Sunni countries, or a country that has an armed population, can you say Israel and Switzerland? Note I didn’t include us because the Islamist invasion is blessed by the regime. It remains to be seen If Americans will react nationally and refuse to accommodate battalions of male invaders in their neighborhoods and how the regime will react.
I can only guess.
