Our FRiend Rodamala's cat, The Purr Monster, is in the Animal Hospital probably til this weekend, with urinary blockage. Poor Purr Monster is also in a great deal of pain.
Please, keep The Purr Monster In your thoughts, maybe if enough people think of him he can come home early and feel better.,
Good signs for TPM. I had two cats who even had the surgery and lived to be almost 23. Prayers continue until TPM is completely healed.
Yay!
And it’s Natonal Cat Day.
I’m so happy for Purr Monster. Stripey cats are the best.
Continue to get well, little Purr Monster. I hope you’re purring at home soon.
Prayers humbly offered for the complete healing of The Purr
Monster’s urethral blockage, and may he recover quickly and
completely. Please Lord, let him go home and never have any
such problems again. God bless Rodamala and his Purr Monster.
Prayers offered in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. God bless
and keep the animals who are in need of healing prayers.
Amazing the little guy will eat and drink with a catheter, but that is a great sign. If he knew what was going on, he would fix it in an instant to get rid of the catheter and get home. That urinary blockage seems to be far too common in older male cats, hope some progress is made on why it happens. Wife does watch what we feed our guys for any hints of stuff that might contribute to it, for whatever good that does.
I just want to bury my face in the fur and smell kitty musk ......don’t judge
TPM is definitely a Gift from God...may he be blessed.
We are all so much better for their Love.
I think that kitties like big bowls of water. My kitties have always liked the big shiny bowls made for big dogs. They seem to like to feel that they are drinking out of a pond and the shininess catches their attention.
What a handsome boy he is.
I’m glad he’s improving. Keep us updated.
I was able to jet outta work early to take a coworker to pick up her car that was being serviced, and so I was able to get to the Vet's office before they closed and got to talk to the Vet and the Techs, and see my Purr Buddy.
The vet said it was a mucous block, not the crystals, but he will definitely need a urinary tract friendly diet from here onward. The Vet said he was going to take the catheter out today, and monitor that he keeps eating and drinking and peeing, and they are expecting that I will be able to bring him home on Saturday.
I took a couple pictures at the vet... most were blurry, but here are 3 that I promised Gefn I would post.
He was doing really well. Ate some wetfood while I was with him, loved getting some skritchies on his head, and lived up to his name. He is so affectionate!
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww he’s so cute!! So glad that he is doing better. Such a sweetie pie, continued prayers for this adorable lil kitty cat
Beautiful baby, thank you God! Thank you for the update.
Good to hear! We’ll keep praying for your Purr Buddy.
Handsome guy, bet he was glad to see you.
Thank you for this great news update. This is wonderful news. Hoping he comes home tomorrow. He looks just like our Bob. (Their feet are SO CUTE!)
Prayers for continued improvement and a wonderful weekend!
Your cat drives a car ?
My cats drive me crazy.
So glad he is improving and hopefully diet change will keep this at bay. Special food is not so bad once they get used to the idea they no longer get the tasty stuff.
We have one cat with touchy digestive system that has to be fed special food easy on the guts. Another tubby Siamese needs low-cal food, and our new kitten needs kitten food of course. You should see the three ring circus feeding them keeping them out of each other's bowls.
Thank you for photos. Beautiful kitteh. Such great news. one of the worst things is the helplessness we get when our pets get sick or hurt. One of the hardest things owning a pet.
I hope he feels better soon. I lost a cat to FUS
Happy your kitty is on the mend. To a healthy life now!
