My children went to Catholic schools. I know EXACTLY what they believe and try to teach!

Thank God I am a minister (teacher and preacher) of Jesus Christ who mainly teaches the Holy Bible. My children know the truth. I would have preferred to send them somewhere else but it was better than the evil public schools in my area. My girls are Christ loving young women who are 19 & 21. We are followers of Jesus Christ and fellowship at a Baptist Church. We know God’s Truth.

That is correct.

Vatican II has not revoked a teaching that outside the Church there is no salvation. The logical conclusion is that Jesus is not fully personally present to those who are outside the Church.(Eph 2:11-13) Since the Church is nourished as the body of Christ.(Eph 5:29)

Therefore, to be outside is not to be fully nourished by the power of Christ.

By having a personal relationship with Jesus and being redeemed by Him you are automatically part of the only true Church made up of all the redeemed It has nothing to do with a Roman sect who thinks they know it all

Are you kidding me? Do you run through crowds at an accident saying "Let me through, my brother's a doctor?"

How much theology do you think they teach in Catholic School?

There ARE RCs who have had a real Salvation experience, by watching TV or even listening to an evangelist on the radio. Years ago, an old Baptist evangelist from South Carolina, Oliver Greene, spoke on this subject on the radio. I’ll never forget one of the things he said, “You ought to see my mail. The Pope doesn’t have all of them.” Obviously meaning that RC listeners had accepted Christ as their Savior and then wrote and told Greene about it.

“...if these people really believed they’d ever have to give an accounting.”

That is precisely what the Christian Walk is all about. It is the accounting and repenting of our sins as He reveals them.

What is the difference between a "salvation experience" and the LDS "burning in the bosom?"

Thank You, Jesus! Glad to hear that you are okay!

It didn’t start with this pope...This is what the Catholic church has believed and pushed down people’s throats since it began.

I blew off catholicism when I was around 14. I was last confronted on this by a catholic priest, brigade level chaplain one time on a field deployment when I used my coined phrase "recovering catholic." He said "we need to talk about that" and I said, "no, we don't." He had plenty of opportunities to bring it up but never did. I had a catholic priest pathology professor in med school who insisted we call him father. Jews, Mormons, born-again christians and atheists alike. "Father is from God and doctor is from the state" he would say. I and a double handful of other students flatly refused this request no matter how many times he would remind us. Much later, around the time I was baptized, accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I read a line from the bible I KNOW was never ever discussed in catechism class: "Matthew 23:9 "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Catholicism is NOT a biblically-based faith; a catholic who actually reads the bible is a rare creature indeed. Catholicism is a MAN-based pyramidal religion (from the Latin: re- again, or again and again+ ligāre to bind, tie; cf. ligament) and the pope is at the top of the pyramid, trying desperately from his little 100 acre kingdom to control, to bind us to his will. God is at the top of the pyramid in my faith, and I communicate with him through Jesus, He speaks to me through His spirit. And I've got His word available for reference (2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness"). Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. Catholics, get some. I have no use for a pope.

Yes. We are headed towards the End Times, where the Roman Empire will be revived.

If a personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous shouldn’t the pope warn Jesus instead of us? If the pope convinces Jesus he stops it all. I think that is where he should start if it is a problem. </sarcasm>
