There is a solid argument to be made that forcing Donald Trump to sign the Republican Pledge was step one in this RNC/GOPe strategy. Hes now locked in the Thunderdome!
When you fully understand the scope of how the Republican National Committee organized the entire road map to elect Jeb Bush, you begin to understand why Reince Priebus needed to lock the door behind Trump before unleashing the thugs upon him.
Hundreds of millions will be spent on this RNC/GOPe effort to destroy Trump. It will be unlike any scorched earth campaign ever witnessed. The brutality of the intended targeting is so severe, even the New York Times is willing to broadcast the bloodbath.
New York Times Quiet conversations have begun in recent weeks among some of the Republican Partys biggest donors and normally competing factions, all aimed at a single question: How can we stop Donald Trump?
Republican strategists and donors have assembled focus groups to test negative messages about Mr. Trump. They have amassed dossiers on his previous support for universal health care and higher taxes. They have even discussed the creation of a super PAC to convince conservatives that Mr. Trump is not one of them.

“Trump declined to weigh in on the issue Thursday — stating during a press conference he wasn’t very familiar with the issue”
The understatement of the year. It seems he isn’t too familiar with the Constitution either.
Well, at least now Jeb and Donald have something in common.
For some reason however the GOPE thinks that Jeb will pick up Trump votes if Trump is out? What are they smoking?
If sufficient bad faith is forthcoming, watch Trump simply break the pledge in retaliation.
I absolutely loved that movie!
Trying to trash The Donald may prove dangerous to one’s political health and reputation.
In this cage death match called the Republican primary race, there shall emerge only a very few, but they shall have their appetites whetted and their defense systems vetted.
This is taking on the aspects of a Crusade. And it may not stop only with regaining the levers of political power.
Actually the GOPe is now locked in the Thunderdome with Trump. They’ve committed not to pull any dirty tricks on him. For example there are 15 states where the GOP chairman can remove anyone from the primary ballot with a signature. Now that’s off the table. And of course if they double cross him, Trump can always change his mind. It’s a win-win for Trump.
I have great trust in the unbiased coverage by the New York Times, aka DNC house fishwrap.
It is not a legally binding doc.
I still won’t vote for Jeb. I’ve never stayed home on election day, but if that nerdy, drippy, underwhelming amnesty pimp gets the nomination I’ll have realized that elections no longer matter in this country.
I’m not saying I’m on the Trump bandwagon. What I’m saying is that Jeb! has no bandwagon and if one materializes out of the ether it is a sham.
As it now stands, we only have 1.
Supporting Mr. Trump is a non-violent act of revolution!
I remember the 2000 election very well. I do believe this election will top that for the major struggle ahead!
The GOP elites will use all of the skills they applied to keep a pot smoking, affirmative action, America hating Muslim from being elected . . . twice.
” Hes now locked in the Thunderdome! “
Interesting analogy ....
“Max then faces Blaster in the Thunderdome and uses his weakness to gain the upper hand. He refuses to kill him after discovering he is developmentally disabled and has the functional mentality of a child, telling Aunty it was not part of their deal, revealing her plot.”

F* the GOPe!
Trump also has several super pacs forming up on their own to support him.
Hey it is now the law of the land. It is the responsibility of the governors of the various states to step up and invoke the 10th ammedndment and nullify this foolishness. Not one of them has the stones to do it. That clerk should not be putting herself in jail over this. Its not her job.
Oh coordinated..until now its been a uncoordinated effort.
Veteran actor and Governor Ronnie Reagan came along, and I voted Republican for the first time. I voted for Bush 41. I voted against Clintoon. I voted for W and after the fact saw the error of supporting him. Before Zero, W was the biggest spender in history, and created a Gum't with policies directly AGAINST the liberty of Americans.
I am following this election closely. I am in the basket for Trump or Cruz, or both together. I think they do have ideas and backbone enough to help bring America back to the forefront on the World stage. I don't see either bowing to a muzzle king.
I am presently living in the Philippines because I can't afford to live in America these days. We have a great house, within a block walk to the beach. I pay about $120 a month for rent, and my total monthly cost is less than $600. I enjoy the people, the food, and the lifestyle of one of the friendliest countries in the world. It is a "land of smiles".
Here, little children walk down the street without fear. Though the average Pinoy is poor, he/she lives in a world they can afford. There are modern malls, complete with McD's and Krispy Kreme. The movie theaters show first run movies, and many of those watching go there to enjoy a couple hours of Air Conditioning. Davao City is one of the safest cities in the world, with good tap water, and cheap electricity. It isn't heaven, but, to many, it approaches being a "paradise".
I doubt I will turn to live in the US. I have a sweet wife, and lots of friends. ExPats like me, but mostly Filipino. Life is comfortable and easy. Though hot all the time outside, I keep my "Cuarto" (bedroom) at 73-75 degrees 24/7. There, I have a large enough room to contain my office, with Satellite TV, high speed interweb, and proximity to the fridge with lots of Nestea ready to drink. The Cokes here have real sugar!
Last weekend, I slow-cooked a pork shoulder and made some NC-style BBQ, cole slaw, and served friends. I can buy lots of them with the money left in my bank account each month!!!
I see Jebbie as just another liberal in sheep clothing. WE need a businessman like Trump. Is he the best option? I can't say he is, but I don't see anybody else on the horizon of those running. My heart still wants Sarah Palin, but my head says to promote "The Donald"... to "Make America Great Again"!
