We thought the feud was over. We thought wrong.
Fox News host Megyn Kelly is no stranger to Trumps bullish tactics, notes the Fusion press release touting Ramoss guest hit tonight. Indeed. Shes tweaking Trump here, obviously, by giving his immigration nemesis a platform to call Trump a child-deporting fascist and grieve over how his right to grandstand on Trumps dime was brutally suppressed for five minutes or whatever. Heres your open thread to gripe, grumble, and groan about the great Fox News/amnesty/anti-Trump alliance. Easy prediction, though: Kelly will go out of her way to challenge Ramos on whether he was out of line in turning what was supposed to be a Q&A with reporters into an opportunity for his own special brand of pro-illegal hack-flacking journalism. This wont be a pattycake session, no matter how much she relishes the chance to make Trump squirm by giving Ramos a soapbox. Her strategy ever since the debate has been to take the high road and largely ignore Trump. Scrupulous professionalism is her way of answering the shots that shes a bimbo or some damsel in distress wholl whine about how mean Trumps being when a male reporter would be expected to shake it off. And scrupulous professionalism demands that she not go easy on Ramos, no matter how much of a jackhole she may think Trump is. Id go so far as to say that Kellys more likely to go extra hard on Ramos tonight than to go extra easy, purely to show that she does her job no matter where her personal interests may lie. See if Im wrong.
If youre looking for someone to take Ramoss side against Trump, though, may I interest you in Jeb Bush?
I think people with the press ought to be treated with a little more respect and dignity, he told reporters
Bushs comments came after a town hall event in Pensacola, Florida, where Bush continued to blast Trumps immigration proposals as not conservative and said the real estate mogul should be held to the same standards as other Republican candidates.
This guy is now the frontrunner, he said. He should be held to account, just like me.
Ask Jeb to choose between condemning a propagandists right to filibuster at a press conference in the guise of reporting and receiving gentle treatment by a major Latino media outlet and its star anchor and hell choose self-interest every time. Coincidentally, the White House also wasnt real keen today on how Ramos was treated. Theres your green light, liberals, to heckle President Jeb at will one hes in office. If the Secret Service tries to haul you off, remind them of the respect and dignity youre due. After all, youre not a protester, youre a journalist. In the Internet age, we all are.
Agreed. I haven’t watched the beyotch since the debate. She’s going to keep on and eventually get her skanky butt fired.
Kelly will grill him like everyone else, let’s see if he becomes another cry baby about Kelly’s tough questions.
My bet Kelly won’t lay a grove on him.
She is a true gutter snipe.
Glove
I doubt she’ll get a complete sentence out. The guy never shuts up. Heard him on Hannity’s radio show this afternoon and he is the king of talking over people and hogging up the verbiage with his lightening fast lies and attacks. He’s no journalist - rather an activist and agitator. His tangling with Trump is giving him an audience for his victimhood and he’ll milk this golden cow (as will Fox) for a long, long time.
I’m done watching the bubble headed bleach blonds of FOX and their homosexual pet boys.
There is now a Yuge market for a real news network.
I was done after that so-called debate.
Trump should start one.
I think the rumor was right. Ailes ordered the FNC staff to take out Trump. Kelly is the tip of the spear.
Did you know that in Spanish, Jeb Bush is pronounced “Jorge Ramos”? Amazing what you can learn on Al Gore’s amazing internet.
WEll who among us is shocked? Megyn is desperate to get back the 8 percent audience she has lost since the debate.
Fox isn’t getting the message. Megyn Kelly and Roger Ailes need to be burnt to the waterline if that is what it takes to make them change their attitude. The question is how. Losing viewers so far hasn’t done it, but I suspect Trump knows a lot more about both of them and can increase the pain behind the scenes if he wants to.
JebTV had its schedule all mapped out for the next year or so. Now they don’t know what to do with themselves.
Machinegun Kelly. The hack is back.
Ain’t watching Kelly. Won’t watch.
No doubt, and to me she is making a parody of herself.
Several of us are FOX free of Megyn Kelly. Her ratings supposedly dropped a quarter of a million viewers after the debate. 7% drop. Then she left for vacay.
I can’t watch her and say I am a conservative activist. I watch CNN. They have been hands down decent to Trump, perhaps taking advantage of the opening while FOX is under fire, but CNN covered Trump wall to wall last night. FOX opted for regular programming. zzzzzzzz.
I have a right old laugh at her desperate, obvious tough girl act.
Even Robin Meade has more substance.
Kelly’s ‘serious news voice’ and speech pattern is risible: ‘Hurricane. Irene. Heading. Up. The. East. Coast.”
Megyn-free here.
She’s a bit of a fast talker.
