In watching the interaction with Trump and Ramos I thought of John Wayne when Trump told Ramos to sit down several times and then a final time with authority.

I like to think John Wayne wouldn't have put up with the rudeness from Ramos either.
I dunno. Maybe Trump is a cross between John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Ronald Reagan, and of course, himself in many ways.
One thing is for sure; I know I'm tired of weak effeminate male leaders of which we have far too many in DC now starting with obummer, McConnell, and Boehner. I hate to admit it but Reid and Pelosi have bigger cajones than our current congressional leadership.
What say you?
... by New York City standards.
I would like to see President Trump and VP Cruz make Ann Coulter Press Secretary.
And after she has them whimpering in the corner move her over to assist Attorney General Trey Gowdy
Trump has his good points but the best of them is his ability to not care what the "beautiful people" think of him. He looks at America, can rightly see what is wrong, says it and doesn't care one whit what talking heads or the "higher ups" at the RNC think!
That the RNC has been shoving that elephant under the living room rug for decades because their really BIG money comes from people who want a steady stream of slave labor coming in from our Southern Border and don't give one whit what it is doing to the country, those supplying that labor/drugs/crime and prostitution or our local services.
John Wayne loved people from Mexico but never confused them with those who come here illegally and do so at the behest of businesses who capitalize off their labor, Trump feels the same.
Many, if not most of those here illegally don't think of themselves as citizens of the U.S., they are taking advantage of those benefits offered by our traitorous government - with us paying the bills!
True. They have very different styles.
I haven’t made up my mind yet on who I will vote for. I simply admire a man who will be a man on stage in front of the cameras. Most these days would just kowtow and blink.
Ramos was rude and deserved a verbal beat down. He obviously didn’t learn anything from it though because he came back in and started doing the same thing like his questions were the only ones that mattered.
Well....not much of a direct comparison...I suppose Samuel Clemmons (Mark Twain)might be a better comparison of someone who speaks things that few are brave enough to say publically.
Explain to me how he is being a man? To me, he acts like a chick.
It means Trump’s winning. Don’t argue with success.
This article is one of the most stupid and desperate articles yet, comparing Trump to John Wayne’s movie characters as though such a comparison has any value at all.

That is a good thing. Just look where being nice has gotten us. He is speaking for millions who never had a voice before. It is way past time. I really do not understand your hatred for Mr. Trump.
Nope. Just a man that isn’t going to put up with liberal BS.
That isn’t something I can explain on an open forum. It’s also something that is probably different for everyone.
Having said that I will say I saw Trump stand up for what was the right thing to do at the time and did it without blinking.
You obviously have a different definition.
Different times. Our country was not going down the drain back then like it is now.
Awesome
I actually like that idea but Press Secretary requires a degree of boring character which I think Ann could not sustain.
Any person that Trump appoints will have to pass his competence evaluation. Ann might be better suited as a domestic advisor because she is quite articulate and insightful except perhaps on the mornings after the nights when she was boinking Maher. Then she’s a basket-case.
Well Danny; it’s not an article. Just something I noticed and posted. Nothing more. You are free to do the same thing.
I’ll try to not call you stupid when you do though but no promises.
I could never live with Trump. He is not a conservative. Takes on PC real well but thats it. Maybe give him the contract for the “Wall” along with being Cruz’a Press secretary. If he does not like what they ask he can throw them out. Love that part.
Can't you see Trump standing nose to nose with Iran Mullahs and saying: “MAKE MY DAY!”
God,Sam Elliott is gorgeous.
(Off topic but sometimes I just can’t help myself.)
:-)
.
Actually I was comparing Trump to John Wayne the man; not one of the roles he played.
You came to that conclusion all on your own.
