GIVE US A KING!" or "THE MADNESS OF KING SAUL"
Donald Trump's despicable comments about Megyn Kelly are God's mercy toward the U.S. We've been allowed to see the madness of Saul in time to reject him. If anything has ever illustrated our debased view of manhood (as explained in the Intro to my book 7MEN), Donald Trump is it. He is not gentlemanly or chivalrous or heroic. He is a win-at-all-costs Saul who would mesmerize us for a time and lift our hopes, only to destroy us in the end. His viciously nasty comments toward Rosie O'Donnell were not what a gentleman says about a woman, no matter who she is or what awful things SHE has said. A gentleman would never have stooped to that level. Would George Washington or Abraham Lincoln speak about a woman that way? We've fallen very far that we would tolerate this behavior. One also might observe that it was Megyn Kelly's JOB to ask the tough questions and he OUGHT to have been prepared for that question, and OUGHT to have had a good answer, a la "My comments about Rosie O'Donnell were absolutely out of line and I sincerely apologize for them. There was no excuse for that. I also apologize for going over the line in my comments toward John McCain." Had he said something like that he would have INSTANTLY made REAL news and would have risen in everyone's eyes and would have appeared statesmanlike and presidential and strong -- NOT weak. But alas, that's not what he did. So sad, but God's mercy, in the end.
Yup.
Anyone with any political smarts understands that.
Trump’s pretty easy to read and he is no threat to Cruz, and is in fact helping him by just being who he is.
There are a few emotion based posters that are all freaked out and comment without having a clue as to what the big picture is.
Beginning of state licensed Casinos rose to power on Ohio under kasich
Trump is blocking Jeb! from getting the press and that is awesome. Cruz is going to benefit from that. I love Trump in his attack dog role, but I believe Cruz is more polished.
I wish Trumps supporters and detractors would get back to real questions:
Trump needs to do his homework. No question about it. He gets the benefit of the doubt at this point for using his celebrity profile to raise critically important issues that nobody in the beltway seemed to care about.
The political elite have utterly abandoned Main Street. If Trump is able to disrupt the beltway cartel game plan then more power to him.
Trump is the least Conservative player in the field, but he has a mouth like Cassius Clay; thus he is Muhammed Ali. Obama all over again. “I don’t wanna hear about facts. He is THE ONE!”
To the G.O.Pee Rinoism is the big picture. Rinoism can’t be stopped from within the G.o.Pee. It’s too prevalent. It will take an outsider do deal those career empty suit traitor politicians a defeat.
All of you Trump supporters keep chanting this mantra that if it isnt Trump, we’ll get Jeb...um hello?!? Not if you knuckle dragging fools would realize that there are more than TWO friggin candidates in the race!
If you would actually back a conservative...you know the thing weve been begging for for 20 years(!!!), we wouldnt have to worry about Jeb. Instead you’re going to float Trumps enormous ego even further and encourage the man to go 3rd party.
We do not need the Kim Kardashian of politics, we need a real conservative.
Ask yourself this: prior to 4 months ago name ONE thing that Trump has done that shows he has a sincerely held conservative belief. When you cant, maybe its time to stop drinking the bong water, look away from the shiny bauble that is Donald Trump and look for a real conservative.
Trump has fake hair?
Hopefully it will be a defeat they will remember
He has repudiated Obama, the G.O.pee, illegal immigration, mcstain, and that is enough for me. Those are the biggest issues. Anything else about him I disagree with id be willing to fight that battle with him one issue at a time. Nothing against Cruz. If it seems like he has a chance I can see him getting my vote, but right now Trump has the right charisma for the right issues. It’s that simple buddy.
Good point. I agree to some extent, and I am grateful to him for shaping the conversation.
You don’t understand
Trump supporters are Conservative
We already know Trump is not Conservative
Jeb Bush funds the dissection of babies
You are upset with Trump
I understand you
You can stay with the baby dissectors
If Trump goes 3rd Party
I’m there
Donald Trump is the Conservative’s Kardashian. A product of our dumbed down populous — Conservative populous, no less. All that is missing is the lousy sex tape.
No
I’m upset with Jeb the baby dissector
You’re upset with Trump
If Trump goes 3rd Party
I’m there
You can keep your baby disection
Great Picture
Who’s Bush shaking with ?
Thank you to bring this topic up again. Finally I did my own search and found that Ted Cruz's reason in this subject is consistent with Conservative principle as I have thought that it would be.
Watch the video. Ted Cruz mentioned about his father coming here with a student visa. After graduating, he started up a company and created jobs in this country.
May 14, 2013
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) today presented an amendment to the Gang of Eight immigration bill that would improve our nation’s legal immigration system by increasing high-skilled temporary worker visas, called H-1B visas, by 500 percent. The measure would effectively address the needs of our nation’s high-skilled workforce by helping meet the growing demand for workers in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. It will also make block grants available to states to promote STEM education efforts and increase domestic STEM professionals. The committee voted against the amendment 4 to 14 with every Democrat voting against it on a party-line vote.
“I strongly support legal immigration. Legal immigration is a fundamental pillar of our nation's heritage, and I was pleased today to offer legislation that would have improved and expanded legal immigration by dramatically increasing the cap for high-tech temporary worker visas. This amendment would not only improve the current system, but would also encourage economic growth and create new jobs in America. There is currently a serious shortage of workers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, yet every year we send thousands of high-tech graduate students back to their home countries to start businesses and create jobs. This makes no sense. I’m disappointed in the committee’s vote to reject expanding high-tech immigration. Although the Gang of Eight's bill makes a modest step towards improving high-tech immigration, it does not go nearly far enough. There is no reason to arbitrarily cap high-tech visas at 110,000 when these jobs are going unfilled. We need economic growth here and now.”
Sen. Cruz’s amendment would:
Immediately increase the H-1B cap by 500 percent from 65,000 to 325,000.
Help retain the high-skilled workers that are trained in the U.S. by allowing “dual intent.”
Create block grants for states to promote STEM education in their public schools by raising H-1B fees.
Ted Cruz: Why I voted YES for Corker Iran bill
May 7, 2015 - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, released the following statement regarding votes on the Iran Nuclear Review Act:
This bill was a missed opportunity. If Congress had acted to defend our constitutional authority if Congress had adopted the Cruz-Toomey amendment then we would be able to stop a bad Iran deal. Instead, the odds are now overwhelming that under these ground rules President Obama will negotiate, and Congress will acquiesce to, a terrible deal that allows Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and will endanger the lives of millions of Americans and our allies.
I voted no on cloture because we should have insisted on amendments to put real teeth in this bill. Ultimately, I voted yes on final passage because it may delay, slightly, President Obamas ability to lift the Iran sanctions and it ensures we will have a Congressional debate on the merits of the Iran deal. I will continue to lead the fight to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to protect the national security of America and our allies.
Well duh lol!
A poster complained about Trump not being polished and I told him that Trumps lack of polish is his luster.
“why ALL of his previous ladies have always praised him and stood by him evern after breakups?”
That’s easy - he would squash any ex like a bug. I remember his first wife and she made some statements during the breakup and then shut up. Due to his narcissistic personality and money, he thinks he is god of all and everyone must do his will or suffer the consequences.
