Never heard of it, frankly. Social media isn’t where I define my ideals nor categorize them as if it has some deeper meaning and significance that will add value to my life.
This is the only social media site I entertain.
I recognize it is probably that technically. But I consider it education and enlightenment.
I, for one, am tired of litmus tests and labels. I am not directing this at your personally.
I’m an American and I love my country and want to see her strong again.
That’s all I can say.
Too bad it is expressed in purely racial terms. That makes the term hard to use. It has a much broader meaning that is valid.
True.
Although you might notice that the description here is not purely racial; there’s mention of the feminist and LGBT agendas too.
People are different; racial traits are different; different outcomes will come from different people all other things being equal. With that said the way the above question is worded makes whoever wrote it sound (inadvertently, I would think) like a raging racist. Simple fact is that most of the "achievement gaps", which should more rightly be worded as "inequality", that the liberals (and I include the GOP-e in that label) bitches about incessantly IS the result of the government and the socioeconomic system (read that as culture) it props up and promotes, despite decades of proven failure. Black urban culture (to which many whites aspire to) is a failure not because the color of the race it is based on, but because it is rooted in leftist dogma, and promoted by a government that steals money from hard working Americans to prepetuate it.
Conservatives commonly mistake the obsolete definition for being operative. The article is trying to tell conservatives that calmly defend their own principles, but scaredly accept the liberal memes in order to avoid being called names that they are acting stupidly.
I, for one, am absolutely sick of people who are unafraid to confront idiots who throw labels out to try and silence disparate thought.
Personally, I think achievement gaps are attributable to innate INDIVIDUAL capabilities and the INDIVIDUAL effort expended in pursuit of achievement. There is also a small degree of pure luck, and an influence of social connections which can provide potential opportunities that may not otherwise be available.
People, as individuals are NOT, **ABSOLUTELY** not equal. They deserve, under the constitution, to be treated equally under the law.
Equality of opportunity is the ideal. Equality of outcome is idiotic.
Yea, verily yea.
Who said it’s about color?
I believe you qualify as per the quiz.
Unfortunately its attracting the worst elements. A black conservative friend on twitter made the comment that he didn’t care for Trump and has been under sustained attack by every white supremisist/neonazi on the web.
It isn’t Trumps fault that the scum has come running to his defense (in fact its possible or even likely that they’re leftists doing what they do) but no one should defend these scumbags or their language.
Bill Sanderson @BanCollectivism is a solid anti leftist conservative and one of the most fearless people I’ve encountered on twitter. https://twitter.com/BanCollectivism
EVERY conversation about "race" in this country, especially with liberals, is about "color". "Color" is the descriptive term for racial traits. "Color" is what is pointed at by liberals as the cause of all the conservative bias they see all around them. "Color" is what a HUGE portion of the citizenry uses to label themselves and those around them. Whether we like it or not, that's the way it is, and I still stand by my post.
If you agree that the idea that “all lives matter” is offensive to blacks, and is contrary to the idea that “black lives matter”...
” Simple fact is that most of the “achievement gaps”, which should more rightly be worded as “inequality”, that the liberals (and I include the GOP-e in that label) bitches about incessantly IS the result of the government and the socioeconomic system (read that as culture) it props up and promotes, despite decades of proven failure.”
I think “The Bell Curve” offers a much better explanation of what we see everywhere in the world regarding race, even when all the races live within the same dominant culture.
The fact that there even is a “black culture “ or a white culture” only adds additional support to the assertion that races ON THE AVERAGE are not equal.
If you honestly look at the biggest social policy failures, you will have to conclude that they are the ones that start with the assumption that all races are equal, and thus conclude that the results for the races must also therefore be equal and if they are not they WILL BE FORCED to be equal.
