BLOCKBUSTER PROOF: Slain South Carolina Pastor Voted FOR Confederate Flag
June 27, 2015
Look at the evidence quickly before it is scrubbed by the powers that be
His death was quickly used by the Mainstream Media and the Obama White House as a tool by which they could call for the outright banning of a historical image sacred to many who proudly declare their Southern heritage. And yet, the facts of Pastor Clementa Pinckneys actual vote to locate the Confederate flag during his first term as a South Carolina senator have been willfully ignored by those same figures.
Senator Pinckney SUPPORTED placing the Confederate flag at the very state-house location the Mainstream Media and the Obama administration are demanding it be torn down from. And just as they tear down that flag, so too do they tear down the truth of who Clementa Punckney really was a man of honor who did not participate in the race-baiting politics of Barack Obama and those like him.
H5028 related to THE PERMANENT PLACEMENT OF THE UNITED STATES FLAG, THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE FLAG, AND THE SOUTH CAROLINA INFANTRY BATTLE FLAG OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA
The vote took place in May of 2000 and Senator Pinckney was among the 93 who voted in favor of the compromise bill.
You can access proof of his vote HERE scroll down to H5028 (about a third of the way down) and then find his last name listed among the names who supported the bill. A copy of the bill and vote was copied and pasted below:

In his eulogy at the Pinckney memorial yesterday, Barack Obama said nothing of Senator Punckneys vote to place the Confederate Flag at the South Carolina statehouse. Instead, Mr. Obama once again demeaned the history of the United States, of the South, pitted Americans of one race against the other, and even went so far as to suggest his political agenda was actually the will of God Himself:
Obama Tells Nation HE Now Speaks For Gods Will Regarding Americas Future
Clementa Pinckney was by all accounts a good and honorable man whose legacy of peaceful compromise did not deserve the divisive political rhetoric of a graceless president whose legacy has been one of self-serving demagoguery that continues to further diminish and weaken America.
What say you Nikki?
You do realize that this bill was to move the flag from the Statehouse roof to the current location, right?
and your point is?
This was long before hating the Confederate battle flag was cool and trendy amongst the libs.
It doesn’t matter now. It’s long gone with the frenzy they whooped up.
The point is that the bill was the only one that made it to the SC Leg floor.
Pinckney didn’t vote in favor of having the flag on the Capitol grounds, he voted for removing it from the Capitol roof.
The original blog post seems rather... ignunt.
To suggest it here makes the suggester seem ignunt, too.
Ping!!!
The Confederate Flag DISTRACTION came from the White House

Oh no, they’ve been hatin’ on it a long time. I wrote a newspaper column around 2002 about the dust-up, jokingly suggesting that these nutcases’ next move would be to digitally remove the flag from the General Lee in “Dukes of Hazzard” reruns. A little more than a decade later ... It’s no joke.
That’s actually a different DC Whispers article.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I've posted wondering about the outrage of what happened several times. It's generally agreed by leaders of black communities and those who opine about them (including Obama) that black men have to step up and accept their role as fathers and husbands. "Demetrius needs a mother and father". On the VERY DAY that Obama eulogized the black pastor, he celebrated "Demetrius can have to mommies" and desecrated the White House with the colors of the gay pride flag.
How sick is that? I wonder how long this nation has to go, until the anger finally explodes.
Here's the way I've been thinking lately: Obama was rejected by his black father and their family. His Caucasian family took him in, but didn't provide a father. When he got a stepfather, it was an Indonesian muslim. Is Obama working to destroy both black and white cultures in favor of the Muslim culture that provided him with a father figure? That scenario would explain a lot. It would also explain why he chose to be black and a father figure.
“This was long before hating the Confederate battle flag was cool and trendy amongst the libs.”
There had been a move afoot for decades to have the flag removed from the Capitol roof.
The bill/vote referenced here was where it succeeded in 2000.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Are you absolutely certain that the Senator didn't understand that the bill required “permanent placement” of the flag at the Confederate Memorial and that it would have the force of law?
If you are certain, could we see your data?
The second part of my sentence clarified the comment: "cool and trendy".
Some people may well have been opposed long ago, but not like they are today.
Dang nabbt. There’s always someone who wants to bring FACTS into what is clearly an EMOTIONAL ISSUE.
“Are you absolutely certain that the Senator didn’t understand that the bill required permanent placement of the flag at the Confederate Memorial and that it would have the force of law?”
The Leg was presented with 2 alternatives - flag on the Statehouse roof as it had been for almost 40 years, or flag on the Statehouse grounds.
I suspect that the Senator, as well as all the Leg, were smart enough to understand that, and that it would have permanent placement, and “that it would have the force of law [the last two subject to a 2/3 vote to change).
To suggest otherwise does our cause no good, and makes you look foolish, and, well.. ignunt.
It’ll take a 67% vote to remove the flag; I hope it fails.
