Which, of course you all knew, since you only pretended to think otherwise so you could get high without the pigs harshing your mellow.
Honestly, if you ever believed the nonsense that marijuana was medicine, you probably dont have the brain capacity to process the information Im about to give you. Then again, theres dumb and theres willfully delusional. You can have the ability to know better, but choose to embrace nonsense anyway because you want so desperately to get high.
Id say that still makes you an idiot. Just that youre an idiot by choice.
At any rate, you know that medical marijuana was sold as something desperately needed by the old and the sick suffering from cataracts and glaucoma. In reality, most of the cards approved by doctors go to 25-year-old dumbasses who claim to be suffering from chronic pain and headaches. The doctors know its a scam too, but they dont care. They figure the public is sufficiently sold on this scam, and many of them probably like to get high too.
But it was only a matter of time before someone actually looked into whether marijuana can function as a medicine. And . . . uh oh:
It helps my Boss’s Bi Polar Son. He takes Prescription Medications as well, but they were never very effective until he started using Medical Marijuana.
My rub on Medical Marijuana is the way it was sold to the Public here in CA. The Commercials showed Bald Chemotherapy raked Cancer Patients in the Pro Legalization Ads. How can you deny helping these poor People they asked in the Ad.
Having Cancer myself, I thought the way they sold it was disgusting. The People with the Marijuana Cards that I know aren’t Cancer Patients, they tell Dr. Feelgood they can’t Sleep or are Anxious. They hand over the $100 and walk out with the Doctor’s Script.
The reality never matches the promises.
Your point?
I hope you don’t get cyclic vomiting syndrome from your mj use but it is very real and caused by mj
And as far as marinol I rarely use it and would not advocate using mj with and prescription medication
Mj is not the harmless substance folks make it out to be
That marijuana-induced vomiting is rare, and Marinol does get one high.
Mj is not the harmless substance folks make it out to be
I can't remember the last time I saw anyone claim that marijuana is harmless. Alcohol, tobacco, and deep-fried Twinkies are not harmless - should they be banned?
Yep, I think that's a true study. Messes up cognitive development, too - in children and young adolescents.
But everything has pros and cons. You want kids or teens drinking? If they can't, should you be barred? Yet, why not? Comparing the damage between weed and alcohol is a joke.
Thanks for that bit of info. I'll look it up.
There is a medical form called marinol, that is occasionally useful, but doesnt get you high, so of course the stoners dont like hearing that either.
Stoners/Libertarians are about one thing. Legalizing their favorite high. They use every excuse and rationalization of which they can think to try to move people towards legalization. I won't go into them because i'm sure you're familiar with them too.
Banning it is debatable I get tired of all the folks claiming it is a miracle substance that has multiple benefits and no harmful side effects
As the mother of someone who struggles with addiction yes, I think it should be banned it is a gateway drug that has harmful effects on its own and often leads to harder drug use twinkies and even alcohol can be used for other purposes than getting high there is no other purpose to marijuana than getting high
Each side has their points but there is no place in the debate for minimizing what mj does in the human body
I often see "no harmful side effects" argued against - but I never see it actually stated. I think the last person to actually make that claim died of a broken heart when Jerry Garcia passed.
it is a gateway drug
The same (sometimes dubious) statistical analysis that supports this claim also identifies alcohol and tobacco as gateway drugs.
Dubious reasoning. I know an alcoholic that drank very little. He just can't handle alcohol. So he doesn't drink.
Headline is wrong. Pot helps relieve my TMJ compression issues from an old basketball injury.
I could spend three times the money on acupuncture and get relief as well. Nothing else works.
you’re talking exceptions to the rule...?
Your blog author writes like a stoned 15 year old.
I’m sure there are alcoholics that have never taken a drink.
What would be your actual point ?
Personal responsibility for one’s actions and the consequences of one’s actions.
