Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul E. Vallely stated recently during a radio interview that President Obama should be arrested for treasonous activities.
Vallely, while a guest on the Real Side radio program earlier this month, stated above anything else that Obama should be held accountable for his sympathies for the Muslim Brotherhood in particular and his actions regarding the Benghazi tragedy. The retired general said one group that should hold the presidents feet to the fire are high-ranking members of the military.
The programs host, Joe Messina, asked whether Obama would just replace those military leaders with others who agree with him, as he has done several times in the past.
Vallely responded: Well then we arrest him for treasonous activities. He noted that the group he helps lead, the Citizens Commission on Benghazi, counts at least fourteen different actions the president has taken that could be considered treasonous.
The general listed bringing the Muslim Brotherhood into the White House, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood against President el-Sisi in Egypt, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya, and supporting the Muslim Brotherhoods operations in Syria among the acts amounting to treason.
Vallely believes Obama has taken these actions because he has an agenda. We know hes a radical Islamic sympathizer. He sympathizes with the Muslim Brotherhood, he said.
He noted the Middle East is in disarray because of the policies of the administration. Baghdad is under complete threat. Further, Vallely pointed out that Major General Qasem Soleimani, from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, is going to fly in, from what we hear, 8-15 thousand Iranian troops in to bolster Assad in Damascus and save that regime. Newsweek reported on this move by Iran earlier this month.
Vallely also took Obama to task for stating a few weeks ago that he is waiting on the Pentagon to give him strategic plans to defeat ISIS. Obamas remarks also prompted a military official to respond: What the f was that? We have given him lots of options, he just hasnt acted on them, as reported by Fox News.
Vallely was not surprised at this response. The DOD is always working on multiple operational plans to address threats to the United States, he said. The problem is Obama has no heart. He is a loser. I think hes a coward, and he does not want to engage.
Vallely believes it is up to Congress to shut down the president on multiple fronts using the power of the purse, among other tools.
Im tired of the deceit, the lies, the deception of this administration, Vallely told Real Side.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) released a report last year listing the Benghazi cover-up and continued aid to Egypt following a military coup among the 76 lawless acts for which the Obama administration needed to be held accountable. (The coup took out Muslim Brotherhood-backed Mohammed Morsi, but Cruz highlighted that the aid continued without congressional authorization and contrary to federal law.)
I get that, however; the average retired officer - would conclude Obama is guilty of treason and these men/retired officers are doing what I/we would expect them to. Special Ops Speaks is full of retired Officers and they say the same. The CIC is engaged in treason.
Many things like age, health, etc,
Need to round alot of them up
Then kindly cite one example where a retired military officer has been returned to active duty in order to be court-martialed for violation of UCMJ Article 88. There’s only one I could find and it was dropped pdq because the politicians didn’t want to give the individual involved a larger platform.
You’re also confusing ‘contempt’ with ‘personally contemptuous’, which is a requirement for prosecution under the UCMJ. It’s never been defined either.
As I said, it’s rarely enforced. But, do you really think it’s beyond the current POTUS to go for it, given his record? He has little to lose. And remember, as CIC he has complete discretion in UCMJ enforcement. Narcissists don’t take criticism well. I don’t rule out anything in his final year. Katy bar the door.
The problem is Obama has no heart. He is a loser. I think hes a coward, and he does not want to engage.
Sounds about right.
Is this man an indication of an early sign of military disaffection?
I retired in 2013 from the military. Believe me there is a large amount of military personnel that are very dissatisfied with Obama. But how many of those are willing to engage in open opposition of the administration I couldn’t say for sure. One big problem is that there is a large portion of the military (younger crowd) that joined purely for the benefits and those are the ones we all need to worry about. They are clueless and will follow orders because they are afraid of losing what they’ve got. I told all my Soldiers that their oath is to the Constitution NOT the President and if they are ever given an order that contradicts the Constitution they are to refuse to follow it.
You mean like the Sunni tribes and militias who fought us, then fought with us in the Surge, and many of whom have now joined with ISIS?
Only those officers who are receiving pensions and other benefits. Give those up and military justice can’t touch you more than any other citizen.
Course that’s a pretty big chunk of benefits to give up.
The next election will tell the tale.
If another communist is elected there will be revolt in the ranks.
