Wouldnt it be better to put everything you have into goods that have intrinsic value? I could have a pickup bed full of Kruggerands; but what could I BUY with them?
Krogers will be EMPTY.

Krogers will be EMPTY. If there is a 11.0 earthquake, or an asteroid hits off the coast, it is much more important to worry about your Credit Score.

When I spoke of “goods that have intrinsic value” I was thinking of things that will contribute to survival. Things, in addition, that could be used for barter: grain alcohol, lighters, TP, et cetera.
