Should be in every First Aid kit.

Being on Warfarin since a heart valve replacement this really perked up my curiosity.
I’ve thought of having a clotting agent handy just in case but haven’t.
I’m all the time nicking myself or worse.

Soon enough attorneys will be looking for folks ‘damaged’ by this invention.

Seeing Xarelto advertised on the same channel the shysters use trying to drum up business for this bad drug business would be funny if it wasn’t affecting our access to new drugs.

Specifically, Combat Gauze is designed to work with the narrow body chemistry of healthy fighting age patients. Celox on the other hand is designed to be effective across a much greater range of patients to include geriatric, those taking medications, and those taking blood thinners. This alone makes Celox a better “civilian” choice where it is more likely the patient will not fit into the perfect physically fit specimen of a fighting age soldier. In short, Celox employs a hemostatic agent that applies to everyone, whereas Combat Gauze is only designed to be effective in healthy fighting age soldiers.
In the recent DoD comparative study, Celox Gauze had the least overall blood loss, the highest survival and the highest overall hemostasis of all products. This study corresponds to the empiric evidence that I have gathered over the years using a variety of these products operationally.

And after twelve or thirteen years of FDA testing we might see it on the market.

How is this better than chitin-based Celox chitosan granules?

From their marketing material:
"In testing by the US Marines Celox was the only product to obtain 100% survival. Journal of academic emergency medicine Jan 08, pages 74-81."

I keep two of these Celox dressings in the medicine cabinet.

This better sweet. It is great that an American did this, but so sad that if it wasn’t for Obama and his minions we could be seeing things like this once a week.
Let’s hope there is still something left of America when he and they are gone.
