None of the Republican presidential hopefuls have made any comments on the Charleston Shooting regarding race or gun control.
The Democrats candidates on the other hand call for more gun control and criticize police brutality in black communities, appealing to both black and white voters.
On the other hand, Republicans try to target the white community, especially from the Southern states who do not want enforced gun control laws. In fact Republicans have push a liberal agenda when it comes to gun control.
The fact that none of the Republican candidates discussed race and gun control issues after the Charleston shooting shows the building pressure they face. On the one hand, claiming that the right to bear arms should remain free of government intervention is very unpopular now, on the other hand, the Republican voting base may abandon a candidate who upholds government gun regulations.
Rand Paul said that Theres a sickness in our country, theres something terribly wrong, but it isnt going to be fixed by your government.. As it is clear, the libertarian leaning candidate does not advocate gun laws regulations.
Ted Cruz did not mention race as a possible motivation for the Charleston shooting.
A sick and deranged person came and prayed with an historically black congregation for an hour and then murdered nine innocent souls, he said.
Marco Rubio did not mention the attack at all in his speech.
One gun would have stopped this.
Sounds more like a command. After all, if it wasn’t for replicowards, no black people aka “folks like us” would be getting shot up by tea party activists. Or something.
I can’t keep “quite” about the headline. Is this a high school website?
When you pump a 18 year old with phyc drugs, put him on line in the basement, they can be controlled.
I trust no one.
Quite something
I’ve read that this happened in a gun free zone.
I said 18 for a reason, 3 years on drugs and I could have the pope spewing BS,
Just saying.

Well, no politician of either party talks about the high rate of black on white murder. What’s the deal?
I’m not surprised they’re keeping quiet. They’re trying to avoid their “47%” moment. It doesn’t matter if they’re right. It’ll just be a blunt instrument with which they’ll be bludgeoned from now until Nov 2016.
Republicans Keep Quiet About Race and Gun Control After Charleston Shooting
It’s called “class”. Maybe the libs should look up this word in the dictionary.
The left wants a “white wing” apology tour.
Screw em.
Rick Perry should have been quiet but he wasn’t. He said labeled it an accident. And y’all still don’t understand why Texas moved him on out of office.
“One gun would have stopped this.”
One father not giving a 45 to a obviously troubled kid could have stopped this.
The right to bear arms does not extend to the right to give someone incapable to responsibly using a firearm a right to kill innocents.
I’m 100% pro gun but I will not defend the indefensible under any circumstances.
One armed defender would have save lives. All the “gun control” laws in the world would not have saved one life.
Liberalism is a mental illness.
Or the high rate of black-on-black violence. Like, how many murders in Chicago this week?
They all need to stop being quite when the left uses these tragedies to advance their agenda.
The rest should have followed suit, I hope they will now that the door was opened.
Typical gop cowardice and unwillingness to take the high road. I guess they’re all waiting for The Donald to do the jobs they won’t do.
How so?
