Well, a ‘sock hop’ dance meant just that - dancing with shoes off.
These dudes are wearing sneakers. Which were not worn to dances in 1955. Not on Long Island, NY. Mostly penny loafers and saddle shoes were worn by everyone.
The clothes on the female in the photo was nothing like the clothes I wore and saw in 1955! We didn’t have slacks like now. Maybe ‘pedal pushers,’ now called capri’s. Oh! and ‘dungarees!’ (Jeans or Levis nowadays).
The clothes on the males in the photo are ‘any era’ identifiable. Except the tees are kind of wimpy.
Now, a Junior or Senior Prom brought out great clothing and shoes! And fancy hairdo’s.
Yes, how "courageous" of the NAACP fraud to "come out of the closet" and announce that she is, in actual fact - and all genetic, anecdotal (her parents), and documentary (her birth certificate) evidence to the contrary - of a different race?

The Dolezals, it should be noted, are a family divided. Parents Lawrence and Ruthanne and brothers Ezra and Zach do not speak with their sister because, they say, she alleged abuse in the family and obtained custody of her 21-year-old brother Izaiah. Izaiah, who is black, lives with Rachel Dolezal in Spokane -- and Rachel says he is her son, the family alleged.The custody battle wound up in 2010. I don't think the "outing" of Rachel was instigated by the parents, at least not in June 2015. I think the parents confirmed it, when asked, but I haven;t read a story where the parents approached the press."Izaiah always was her favorite child," Ezra Dolezal said. "... She turned Izaiah kind of racist. Told Izaiah all this stuff about white people, made him really racist toward white people."
Interestingly, Rachel also claimed to be part Indian, born in a tipi. Related to that fraud, Elizabeth Warren. Notice the biggest racist in this family bunch appears to be Rachel.
She felt within her soul that she was born in a tee pee--doesn't matter that all the outside world saw was a "hospital".
She has struggled with this for years.
She has always known, inside, that she was black.
She identifies with blacks.
She thinks about being black.
Even when she was white, she knew it wasn't her on the inside.
She is the VERY PICTURE of COURAGE!!!
