It just amazes me how quick people want to revel and gossip about the sins of others. Right there is the height of hyprocrisy. Remember Joshua Duggar was a child himself. This is sad beyond sad that these kind of things are ok with people, to talk endlessly about it ad nauseum as if they are somehow sin free. The just judge will be that, not any of us. Sin is sin this is true. Fix your own house.
Pray for this family. They did the best they could with the situation and until any of us is faced with a horrific situation like this, you can’t sit back and say the things that are being said. The victims are being victimized worse than the actual, original event. This is what they will be known for, remembered for. I will never comment on this again

Gd did not make people be forced to have sex with children. If they have the desire, to me it’s like a desire to murder. It must not be acted upon, or reap the consequences. I wish there were no statute of limitations and the death penalty for special circumstances like multiple victims and counts.

The Duggars have hurt society. Because they did not do the right thing. No child should be molested. They had a child molester in their home, and tragically it was their own beloved son. But their beloved daughters were continuing to be abused! Where was their protection? They gave him to a sex offender to do construction “rehab.” Building a home doesn’t stop pedophile urges, nor is it proper therapy or punishment. They also went to a friend who was a cop, and discussed this with him. Of course the cop did not tell anyone nor report it; why would he? He was a fellow pedophile. He’s now serving hard time for child pornography.
You are being fooled. The Duggars are wearing the trappings of a good Christian family, but they are open liars making harmful decisions, all for fame and money. And because Josh never has to do time for his crimes nor is officially labeled a sex offender, who knows how many girls have been hurt or may be hurt?
If a child can “come out” as gay. Meaning that apparently people of the same gender turns him/her on (gag)...
Or that a child can say they were born the “wrong gender”...
And seeing how much the left wants to celebrate every sexual kink as being an identity or that you were “born that way”, not to mention the numerous stories of kids being shown explicit material in the name of “sexual education”...

Juvenile records in Arkansas can be accessed through a FOIA request once the perp is no longer a minor. Perhaps Jimbob should have lawyered up to get the records destroyed. He didn't and a tabloid was legally able to get them.

Jimbob didn't do that. He took his son to a cop that had done him favors in the past to scare him. Looks like that as another favor he didn't file a report on it. The cop is now in prison for over 50 years for kiddy porn. Yes, Jimbob claimed all kinds of things in the TV interview that don't match the facts. So did Josh's sisters although they are much more sympathetic.

And you are repeating untruths - the kids all had professional counseling including Josh...they did not take him to a cop who was a friend - the dad KNEW a trooper at the station they went to to report the incident(s) but made their report to the person on duty at the time.
PLEASE if you’re going to post, get ALL the facts at least those that are not in question. All we can do is listen to the parents/kids and forget what the smear media is pushing.
That's what Jimbob says in the Megyn interview. The records at the time say something quite different. Jimbob wouldn't lie to Megyn to try to save a significant source of income would he?

That IS NOT what the father said in the Megan Fox interview. He knew a trooper at that station but gave their report to the person on duty at the time.
HERE WE GO AGAIN! Please if you’re going to repeat what you’ve seen on the TV interviews, try to at least be accurate. If you’re going by the scandal sheets or MSM, what can I say? As the girls told Megan Kelly last night there are a lot of false stories out there and they wanted to set the record straight.
I will add that I thought it was a lousy interview last night. Megan Kelly did not let the girls finish their sentences before she was speaking over them. She didn’t do that in the Wednesday night interview. There were times when I have no idea what the girls said as there were two voices at the same time. I was really surprised when Jill got upset that her sister just sat and stared at her and didn’t put at least a hand out or an arm around her to console her.
You might want to read page 2 of the 2nd 4 page police report. It’s quite different from what Jimbob told Megyn.

Whether the information was released legally is debatable.
Even if it was legal, most news organizations have a policy of protecting victims’ identities even when they know who the victims are. That was NOT done in this case.
This resulted in the victims needing to go public with their side of the story. When they complained about being exposed, they received ridicule from the left AND even from some here. Some on this forum have even openly expressed hatred and anger toward the victims for forgiving their brother. Sickening.

I did watch both Megan Kelly interviews and was very disappointed in the one last night. Megan started talking before either of the girls had finished answering her last questions. It was like watching Sean Hannity. I did not hear some of the girls words at all as one of the girls was talking over the other one or Megan was talking. I got the feeling both nights that several interviews were taking place at once - each participant on a different subject.
I heard a partial answer to “how did you feel when the news came out” or whatever. Jill said, “I called ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and I was devastated”. Someone was talking and I don’t know if it was Megan or the sister. I tend to think it was the sister. That’s when she started crying. It was played at least three more times both on Megan’s show and on Hannity’s and each time it was the same and I don’t know WHO she called. Was it her husband, her mother, her father??? Could you hear it?
No stones will ever be thrown at that family or any other by me. As I said last night, what family doesn’t have skeletons in their closet? I don’t believe there were any more attacks on the family after I posted that. Whether a family has a closet full of skeletons or not, you do not condemn a family going through such a traumatic time. I have been having the same conversation with my own daughter to the point it’s verboten to bring it up again. I don’t want to hear it. She’s always said, “I don’t watch that show” only to pipe up with criticism over this. Not having it.
How about the other one we learned in school - “Walk a mile in my (or someone else’s) shoes?” People have tossed that one out, I guess.

ANy professional counselor would be legally obligated to report sexual abuse of children. Every day that it wasn’t reported that lapsed between the FIRST offense discovered/reported to father and the time it was reported to the police was a day in which his daughters were not protected by the head of the house...by his choice. Additional abuses then occurred which the father could have prevented. If the kids got counseling after the fact was reported to the police, so what? They needed to be protected from abuse, not treated for it. To paraphrase Moe Sizlack, it’s not what erasers were meant for.
