2) Red certainly has NOT "always been the color of FREEDOM and the pursuit of LIBERTY". For example, the Bolsheviks celebrated 'Red October' and it represented the opposite of that.
3) Most of the websites from conservatives in so-called "red" states talking to the rest of us in so-called "blue" states are activists whining about their so-and-so 90% conservative Senator is unacceptable yet WE "blue state conservatives" need to accept a pro-abortion, gun-grabbing socialist RINO because such a candidate is "the best we can get" in a RAT state. So again, the message is the exact opposite of "FREEDOM and the pursuit of LIBERTY"
I understand. You and I are old school. People under 40 do not associate the color “red” with “Communism”. I could not understand why the Conservative States got labeled “Red”. Who made that decision anyhow? But, I’d join a movement called “Kiss a White Man’s Ass” if it would help bring defeat to the Obamaites, Clintonites, Sodomites and baby killers.
Maybe the color red could be seen as a color in regards to the “tree of liberty” which needs from time to time to be fed with the blood of freedom fightters.
When I was younger the media used blue for the Republicans and red for the Democrats. One year I was watching the election returns and realized they had switched the colors. I guess they knew they had to hide the fact that Dems are really Red Communists and needed to deflect the truth.
Red is for blood, as in “Blood, Swat, and Tears”.
It’s a stupid thing to abandon a symbol just because of its very-recent usage — the rainbow, for example, is not about proclaiming homosexuality, but the promise of God with all flesh to never again flood the world. (i.e. What they intend is, in the face of God’s power and honorableness, laughable.)
