But in America, under the Obama Regime, Turkey is set to open a monstrous $100 million Islamic indoctrination and jihad training center in Maryland. Built on a 15-acre site, the Turkish Cultural Center will be the largest and most ostentatious example of Islamic supremacism in the Western hemisphere.

Muslim Link The cost of the 5-buidling complex is estimated to be around $100 million according to sources familiar with the engineering aspects of the project.
The Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center (TACC) is a project of the government of Turkey and is meant to”serve as a social, cultural, and religious center for all visitors, including activities for the promotion and introduction of the values of the Turkish Civilization” according to an information packet distributed by TACC.
The TACC Center will consist of five main buildings: a mosque constructed using 16th century classical Ottoman architecture that can hold 760 worshipers; a two-story, 19,990 SF Cultural Center Building including a 220-seating performance hall; a 9,850 SF recreational building with a 180-seat restaurant and traditional coffee shop; a 43,450 SF traditional Turkish bath for up to 22 people at a time and indoor pool and sports center; and 18,500 SF of guest housing including 16 one-bedroom apartment units.
The complex will have very limited above ground parking and most cars will park in the 150,700 SF underground parking garage which gives direct access to all the main buildings. A few traditionally designed residential buildings, Turkish gardens and fountains, and outdoor recreational areas will also be a part of the complex.
The Acropolis of Pergamon is a hill that is still in Pergamon. The Pergamon Altar is a large structure that was moved to Berlin in the late 1800's. Since Erdogna is a Muslim, it does not make sense that he would care about retrieving an altar that contains pictures of Greek gods.

I’m an art historian and find you comments concerning the Acropolis of Pergamon to be weak.
The Germans took the Altar off to Berlin and it wasn’t until 1930 that it was opened to the public. The museum building that houses it on an island in the river in Berlin is now closed for repairs and will not reopen until 2020.
The Nazis valued the Altar of Pergamon and had dinners in front of it at the foot of the stairs. To protect it from bomb destruction during the war, they disassembled it and placed it in storage (bomb shelter), which the Russians later found and transferred to Moscow. It was returned to Berlin in 1959.
The sculptural frieze of the altar depicts the war between good and evil, and is believed to be a Gigantomachy. It does not depict any historical event.
As for Erdogan being a Muslim and therefore not caring about retrieving an altar depicting Greek gods, he cares enough to turn Hagia Sophia from a museum into a mosque. Oh, he’ll no doubt cover over the Christian mosaics but whether they are there under plaster won’t concern him: it is the action of repudiating other religions that is important to Erdogan.
I don’t know whether he has specifically done so.

Thanks. I didn’t figure he’d have the desire at all, esp. since he’s going to be at a Mosque opening with the Turkish head. I have relatives that are BIG BARRY supporters whose relatives escaped the GENOCIDE. What will they say?
